Alternatives to Chanel No 5?

spot, 30 May, 2009 at 09:15 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

Hi,

As it says above. I'm looking for an alternative to Chanel No 5 which is (hopefully) cheaper and a similar scent (although not exactly the same).

Can anyone recommend anything?

TIA. S. x

Hmm tricky one, it's a very distinctive smell. I got my first bottle a few months ago and just adore it.

Is it for a present? I bought mine duty free although that doesn't really help you does it ? Boots points? You can get £5 of points just for signing up for their prescription service with the coupon in the back of their mag this month...

I used to use no 5 but I`ve now moved on to coco mademoiselle-its not as strong smelling though.

Thank you. Will go on a sniff test. Smiley smile

Flump - It's for my mum, but my budget is mega tight right now so normally I would have just bought it, I have to think more about it now - no-where near as much fun! ?

Could you get her something cheaper from the No5 range like a body lotion or something? Soap? ?
