Any Bristol Brides out there?

Hello,

Not sure I am putting this in the right place! But just wanted to see if there were any Bristol brides out there? I am having a serious stress about finding a decent not expensive reception venue.


We are looking at Westbury on Trym village hall but I am a bit concerned that there is a noise limiter is installed and is set at between 87 and 89.9 decibels. I think this might spoil the fun slightly!

Are there any other lovely halls out there? Or in North Somerset way - towards the airport? Or pubs? I am open minded about the were - I just want somewhere we can put our own stamp on and doesn't cost the actual EARTH!

    Hi, I'm a Bristol bride too Smiley smile

    But I can't offer much advice on own stamp type venues. We're getting married at the Arnos Manor Hotel, which is really reasonably priced for a hotel wedding (at least in Bristol!), but doesn't sound like what you're looking for at all!

    Arnos Manor Hotel is lovely - we had friends that got married there a couple of years back.

    We are looking at the 8th October? How about you?

    Hello - I no longer live in Bristol (Moved to Gloucestershire about 2 years ago) But I still have family in South Bristol.
    The only place i can think of off the top of my head is Cameley Lodge: http://www.cameleylodge.co.uk/
