The wedding venue we want has just given us the details of their sound system. Apparently it’s restricted to 95db but he says it’s in the roof of the marquee and points down at the dance floor. He says the sound in the dance floor is great, a benefit is that the noise reduces dramatically the further away one gets from the dance floor.
my concerns are...
Is 95db really enough to be immersed as you’d like to be dancing at a wedding party?
Will the relative quietness away from the dance floor ruin the atmosphere?
Very grateful for any thoughts or experience.
