Hi all, haven't been around in a while, just started planning properly now as only just over 5 months to wedding!

I was wonderin if I could have a bit of help, my mum is realy strullin to find an outfit, she looked at jacque vert a while back and found nice outfit but a week later my miltb bouht it for sil weddin next week so now my mum dosnet want to have same outfit oviously. she also dosnet want what every one will of seen iyswim? we have tried other styles in jacque vert but shes not keen, hobbs, debenhams, m&s, coast, basically all stores in manchester and suroundin areas that she is compatable bein in (she is quiet shy, dosent like to be pestered or be made to try thins on even if someone else says thy will look nice)

so any ideas on where to shop? online is apossibility but makes her nevours that it cant be returned etc. she also dosent want to spend a fourtune, she looked at one outfist she likes but was over £500 which is more than my dress and my dad nearly had another heart attack at the prices (altho he dose think we should of just been married in a reistary office and then to the pub down rd for a drink)

help!!

I was at a wedding where the bride's mother wore a condici outfit. Now I know they aren't cheap but she will get a lot of wear out of it still. It is the outfit with the dress with a layered bottom half. It comes in different colours and patterns and is extremely flattering. There are matching jackets in different colours too.

Have you got a Matalan near you? Worth a look if your mum on a budget https://www.matalan.co.uk/

    Or BonMarche? https://www.bonmarche.co.uk/womens/clothing/dresses/

TK Maxx can be a bit hit and miss but you could try your luck! http://www.tkmaxx.com/

Mum hasn't chosen hers yet but MIL has just chosen this one, the dress and the jacket together.

My mum went on a day trip to bath with a friend as they have many little boutiques that sell some amazing clothes. She said they had lots of lovely and unusual dresses that you won't find on the high street as she didn't want to risk turning up in something someone else could wear.

Sorry to barge in on your thread - just thought I would mention Im selling two MOB outfits from my sisters weddings. One is Frank Usher and the other is by Gina.

They are not from this season so there is no chance anyone else will turn up in the same outfit!

    Check them out.

If not, then fingers crossed you will find something. I second Condici although it is super expensive.

Oh that is a dilemma. I'd also suggest Marisota or ebay if your mum hasn't been able to find anything in Debenhams. I'm taking it that a personal shopper wouldn't be something your mum would go for?

I hope she finds something lovely for the wedding. My mum went to a little boutique where she lives and got something there. As Mil lives over 300 miles away there was no chance they would both arrive in the same outfit.

If your Mum is thinking of wearing a fascinator she might like to look at my new web site www.weddingfascinator.co.uk as I have traditional, modern, vintage and quirky styles in lots of colours. They are not very expensive but I only have a few of each colour and style so that people don`t find other people buying the same one. When she chooses an outfit she might like a fascinator if she is not brave enough for a big hat!! Hope this is helpful.

    Hi,

Don`t know how your mum is getting on but i have just launched a fascinator website aimed at providing affordable but pretty fascinators for all occasions. I have various styles and colours in traditional, modern, vintage and quirky designs. They are hairband, comb, clip and pin styles so some can be pinned onto bags or jackets too.

www.weddingfascinator.co.uk and Lemon Violet fascinators on facebook

    Hope that`s helpful
