I tried it on and absolutely adored it, it was a very close contender for me. Gorgeous dresss and looks amazing on.

Cant help as i have bought a dress yet, but am loving that one!

Thing is this, it only shows the ivory/gold one on the website and I want to see more pics of the white one with a 'real bride' wearing it. Ive seen one on ebay and some copies on manequins, but would be nice to see it in a proper wedding scenario so I can see what flowers and colours look good with it - if you see what I mean?

There are some 'maggie brides' on the website, but not very good pics they are a bit small.

There is a lot of detailing on the dress, I know there are roses? on it, I wasnt allowed to take a pic in the shop for copyright reasons.

Im determined to choose my dress and get it ordered by the end of the month, and have another appointment on Tuesday.

When I tried it on I thought it was absolutely stunning and I felt good it in (love the corset), I had my heart set on a plain classic dress but changed my mind when I saw this beauty, even though there were ones far more OTT in the shop, I feel this one is neither plain or OTT if you catch my drift?

It is a gorgeous dress and i agree with it not being OTT or too plain it is stunning.

My dress in the shop sample was Ivory/honey/metallic lace and i wanted All ivory with mettallic lace and was worried i hadnt tried it or or seen it in all ivory as it was a dramatic change anyway when i was in the shop they had someone elses order of the dress in all ivory which enable me to see it in the flesh....maybe its worth speaking to the shop about above and also trying to get a sample of the fabric??

Havent posted on here much lately as havent been sleeping (racing brain syndrome) but thought I would tell you what happened 2day!

Me, OH and my brother (who is giving me away) went to the bridal shop where I am getting my dress to enquire about their suit hire. Bearing in mind I had been quoted £400 to hire 5 suits including insurance. Found exactly the thing we want and asked them if they can beat that quote and she said because I am getting my dress there, she will give me the groom free and it will be £343!!!!!!! I nearly snapped her hand off!! So all ordered and deposit paid to secure yayyyy!!

I went to the wedding show last week and saw a bloke from Moss Bros there, gave me the leaflet about getting the groom free etc. Remember I told you somebody told me to read the small print with them? Well I did and it says that a security deposit of £200 PER SUIT!! is required!! Me thinks you aint gonna get that back in full after the event.......

So if you're still looking for suits, my advice is go local.

Another thing with my bridal shop, I wasnt sure about the colour of the shirt/tie matching my dress, the lady whipped downstairs put OH in another room and hung the dress against the suited display. OMG thats just what I needed to put my mind at rest! My dress will be diamond white which is not a bright white, now Im just worried because I jumped the gun and bought those bm dresses in white the other day.........at least they were in the sale! I will take them down with me next week when I hopefully order the dress.

Thanks for the Info on Moss Bros i spoke to them the other day about this as i heard it from somebody else and they said they have now bought in compulsory insurance for each suit £7 which takes away the need for a whacking huge deposit!!! Wil keep an eye out for local people but the ones who ive seen havent had exactly what we wanted!!!

Good news about the shirt and tie matching your dress!!!

Im not upt o much weddingy wise at the mo except starting to order stationary etc for invites as should get the proof through from our friend next weekend so can start to put them together etc printing etc. Apart from that still waiting for quote and pics from florist ..... went to have a chat to jeweller about our wedding bands as mine will have to be made to fit my ring but i want a matching pair so he came up with a few good ideas....

Ive been looking at invites (not making them myself cant be @ssed now), the ones I found are really nice and OH likes them too. I received a sample in the post and the outside all smudged because the inside of the envelope is dark blue and the invites are white!!!, they obviously werent dry b4 they posted them arggghhh! Dont know whether to ring them up and moan or not! It took me ages to find something I liked!!

Anyhow, tomorrow I am re-trying the MS Sabelle on and will be hopefully ordering it and paying deposit!! Cant wait for that, its another thing ticked off a v v long list!! I really need to get my butt in gear with a florist, just havent had time to sit down and go through what I want, maybe tomorrow night......

BTW I had my gold engagement ring rhodium plated and it looks fab!! - well worth the £25!

Wahhoooo for tommorrow bet you cant wait i have to wait till feb to try mine on ☹️ make sure you ask for a swatch of fabric etc try and get as much as poss you could then use this round your flowers!!! Thats what im doing .....

Glad about your ring bet you its bling bling now!!! My jeweller cleaned mine Sat its so sparkly i love it all shiny!!

I will ask for a swatch tomorrow thats a good idea! Need to take my bm dresses down there cos they are white and my dress is diamond white............hope they match? Might just be me being a drama queen tho!?

Yeah loving the blinging sparkly ring, doesnt stay that bright for very long tho does it!

Sorry to hijack the thread & resurrect it ....

As another Sabelle bride I came across this thread whilst searching internet to find pics of real brides, been especially looking for bustle ideas, not having a lot of luck though. Thought that by bumping this one someone might have some pics to show....??? do I remember you mentioning to me on another thread that you did find pics in the end??

When I tried it on first it was the diamond white, which I fell in love with, then went to another shop which had it in light gold - OMG what a difference!! I must admit, never had understood the difference that the colour could make until then. Amazing!

No pics of me yet, ordered it couple of wks ago, and get married in Aug. but asked to have it delivered april, in time for alterations. I’m 5ft3, & just a lil worried about the length – but I normally wear killer hills anyways so I’m hoping it will be ok…..
