I drink it, I used think it smelt funny but got used to it, you know you cn drink it with milk and sugar like normal tea. I drink it at work because I refuse to pay for tea and milk so bring my own.

I drink it at work because then the tight ar5es who don't bring tea bags with then don't steal any! It's definately a taste you get used to. I drink it with milk.

    PS - how's the dog?

I drink rooibus tea all the time now (and have converted my H too) but it is affectionately known as "bark-chipping tea".

When I was on project in South Africa, rooibus tea was drunk with lots of milk and sugar in the townships, and black with lemon in the middle-class suburbs - we had a good split down the middle of the project team about which alternative was better!

I drink rooibos most of the time (I live in SA). We drink it with milk (plus sugar if you like it), or else it is lovely served black with a spoon of honey and a dash of lemon, especially if you have a cold and need a soothing pick-me-up.

Now, I wonder if I am classed as middle class or township? ?

You obviously represent the best bits of both! ?

(To be fair, the old biddies in charge of tea whilst we were in the "posh" bits of town were real throwbacks to the apartheid era and looked horrified when someone asked for rooibus - "You want BUSH tea?" was the disdainful response, before having to go and get some from the maid. I suspect that's partly clouded my judgement!)

I drink redbush tea, as it's caffeine free. I prefer it with milk, as then I can pretend that it's 'real' tea.
