Anyone heard of/got a Faveo Freedom bra?

Clare _ M, 27 May, 2008 at 16:41 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 8

I need a backless bra for a dress I have and this looks too good to be true (which generally means it is) so I thought I'd ask if anyone's come across one.

Actually I was looking at those the other day in John Lewis and might well have bought one on spec but they didn't have my size. I strongly suspect though that one would get boob bulgeage in between the strap part and the main cup, which wouldn't be a problem for all clothes but would be the kiss of death for the dress I'd want to wear with it.

Did they have a big selection in John Lewis? I might pop in tomorrow and have a look if they do.

No, not at all - just about three, all in the huuuuge sizes.

I tried these when I was bra shopping for my wedding dress. The girl in the shop had to fit it for me and it was really bad. Made my boobs look a really weird shape and kept falling off (the faveo thing that is, not my boobs). She was very confused and said that they don't work for everyone. I think she was just too polite to tell me that I obviously have freakish boobs ?

Edited to add that I'm a 30F so naturally on the saggy side anyway, they might be ok for smaller, perkier boobs.

    No, you're not ? - their sizes go by a back/cup combo. I'm a 32DD and I think I'd have been a 2 and they only had 5s and 6s.

Argh! My edit has just randomly appeared about 5 min after I wrote it. New Hitched is pretty but so slow.

Pah - I may have had perky boobs when I was 10 but those days are long gone!! I'll try John Lewis and ask them to order one. I don't want to buy something that's not going to work.
