Anyone know the cost to resize rings?

Hi everyone,

I'm on the forum occasionally as a hitched jewellery HIB. ?

Basically, I'm an old married and have lost quite a lot of weight recently and my rings are too big. I need to get all three made a little smaller as I can't wear them at the moment. ☹️

I also need one white gold ring re-plating or re-dipped. I wonder how much this will cost? I hope it's possible as the ring what bought abroad and is 14kt gold and I believe the rings here are usually 9 or 18kt?

Does anyone know how much it costs to resize a ring? Thinking of going to Ernest Jones to see if they can do it for us as two of the rings are from there.

    I think they cost £40 to resize at EJ i know my local independant where my OH got my ring from resized for free if the ring was bought there, otherwise charged **** Smiley laugh

    Do you think we need to go to EJ or perhaps just go to an independent? Perhaps it will be cheaper.
