Hi!
I am a complete newbie to Hitched, and we're getting married in the Tythe Barn at Priston Mill on 12th Sept this year. (I got engaged on 15th Feb this year, so I'm doing the whole planning within 7 months! Mad I know!)
I was just wondering if anyone else has been married, or is getting married there, and where you stayed? I'm looking for somewhere for me and my bridesmaids (2) and possibly 3 other friends to stay the night before, so we can all get ready together, and somewhere (possibly the same place) for me and my groom to stay on our wedding night. I want it to be nice, but not too OTT as I guess by the time we get there and check out in the morning we wont be spending too much time there! ?
Any reccommendations for somewhere that's reasonably priced? I've seen a few very nice large houses in Bath that cost the earth!!!
I feel like everything has fallen into place a little too well so far- I found 'THE' dress days after we got engaged, and Priston Mill just HAPPENED to have a cancellation for this year for the exact date we wanted that came in an hour before we called them. Plus my bridesmaids chose their dresses in about half an hour and loved them. I am starting to get a bit scared about when it all starts to go wrong lol! ?
