Anyone use Soap & Glory?

Lillythepink, 22 February, 2009 at 22:30 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 22

I saw this range in Boots today for the first time and I adore their packaging (shallow? moi?) ?

So does anyone use it, and what do you use? Any skincare stuff any good?

Cheers m'dears xx

I adore their range. I can't recommend their "The Fill Monty" wrinkle cream enough!

I've only used the handcream, but I do like it. And the packaging is rather fab.

I know (re: packaging) - it's one of the reasons I love Benfit - not being able to work out from the box what anything is ?

I was thinking of giving the face mask thing a try - I've just used the last of the one I had. Anyone use it?

I love scrub your nose in it. It doubles as a mask if you put it on a bit thicker. Fab stuff.

I have the Fab Pore facial peel mask and it's brilliant. I also rate the cleansing milk, Scrub Your Nose In It, Righteous Butter, face moisturiser (can't remember the name but it has tanning beads in it), Clean On Me shower gel and Some Like It Hot thermal body scrub.

I'm a bit addicted to the range in case you couldn't guess.

I have the sugar scrub which is great and leaves your skin smelling lovely and I have the pump shower cream stuff and the hand cream. I'm hoping it's not what's caused my thrush though ?

It's gawjus stuff alright. Lodger Girl used to use it a lot (probably still does, just not in our house!) and one time I asked her what perfume she was using as she smelt nice - it was The Righteous Butter I think. Am thinking of getting one of the minis sets so I can try them out myself.

I *think* its from the Bliss team but obviously more affordable than their stuff - I'm seriously tempted by their lip gloss (not that I have a bit of a lip gloss habit .. oh no)

The Boots website has the Soap & Glory things on a 3 for 2 - might be the same in store too.

Purely to help out LTP I ventured to Boots to check the 3 for 2 offer was on, the shelf ticket said so. Just to double check I picked up 6 gorgeous items and took them to the till, and yip, the offer is definitely on. Not only have I now got a bagful of goodies, I don't need to feel bad as I was simply doing it to help someone else ?

For christmas I got the cream body lotion that you put on while wet, it's ok and does make my skin nice and soft but no different to using Vaseline or St Ives.

It does last for ages as you only need a little bit, but I don't like the smell either so definitely won't be buying it for myself. I do love the packaging though.

    Yup and love it.

I have flirtigo body mist, clean on me shower gel and the righteous body butter. The pacakging seduced me and the witty puns for the names. LOL!

Well... since you're fishing for negatives.... ?

I love the whole range but their lip gloss (Sexy Mother Pucker, I think) is a great lip gloss, last well and not too sticky BUT it does not plump your lips. At all. If you're buying it as a lip gloss then great, if you're buying is as a wonder treatment then save your money.

Oh noooo, is it on 3 for 2 at the mo? I feel a trip to Boots at lunchtime is in order - the facial care range only came out a few months ago and I've not tried any of it yet.

The Righteous Butter and the scrub are absolute essentials though. I have a Sexy Mother Pucker as well, but the stinging perturbed me a bit so I took it off. Might give it another whirl though. They've just started doing email newsletters as well and it had a £2 voucher in - might be worth signing up on their website to see if they do more offers.
