App issue and Guest List Manager Issue

Hi Hitched,

I am really liking the gust list manager on the website but one observation with it is that the linking of guests only shows a list of first names to link. If you have many guests with the same name, you have no idea which one you wish to link.

The other issue I have is with the app. My fiance would love to update and keep an eye on the guest list but whilst at work she would love to just use the app. I signed up to hitchedco.uk via the 'Facebook' login button. There is no such option on the app and using the email/password will not let me in. Am I resigned to just using the website because i used the Facebook login?

As a suggestion for the guest list planner, I would also add a 'Save the Date' part. We are going to have to reset all the 'Invite Sent' flags once we are done with the save the date cards.

Some help with the app would be great. Other than that, top notch planning applications. Thanks

    Guest Manager - thank you for the feedback regarding linking guests, this is a great suggestion and I have added it to our enhancement development list to work on. We are always trying to obtain as much feedback as possible to make the site's planning tools as easy to use as possible.

    In the meantime, I can suggest that you use the linking functionality from the main guest manager list, rather than the edit guest pop up. You can select the check box next to two names in the list (where you can see their surnames) and then use the 'Link Guests' button at the top of the screen to link them together.

    Your suggestion regarding having a save the date option on the Guest Manager is also another great idea. Thank you for this suggestion and it will be put forward to the team as a future development.

    My Wedding App - if you registered using Facebook on the website you can certainly use the app to check/update the guest list. When you first registered you will have been sent an email confirmation from hitched where you were assigned a password linked to this account to use, in addition to using Facebook. You can use this password to access both the website, and log in to this account on the app.

    I am also having a similar issue. I know most of my guests names give or take a few other halves, but my fiancé has a lot of guest all with Greek names and we do not know all their names. So I cannot type in their names and let them search. I wish there was just a way that the guest can just type their name in from the beginning. Is this a possible function ? As with my sisters wedding website they could just enter their names without them already being entered. Also what if you have spelling mistakes ??? Any info on this would be much appreciated thank you
