Apple Cruble Recipies

I've just been and picked some apples from the apple tree at work, and so tonight i'm going to make apple crumble.

So if possible could i have your easiest apple crumble recipies because i aren't the best cook in the world.

Possibly something using oats in the crumble would be nice too.

Simplest recipe I know:

3oz butter

3oz sugar

6oz flour

Stick in a bowl. Rub the butter into the flour until you have crumbs. Put on top of lightly stewed apple & bake in oven till golden.

Exactly. same quantity of butter and sugar, double that of flour. Use 1/2 or all demerara sugar for extra crunchiness, and you can substitute up to 1/3 of the flour with oats if you fancy a more oaty flavour.

Oh, and I don't bother stewing my apple first - just slice thinly and by the time the crumble is done its cooked.

And put some thorntons toffee in the apple too, it is gorgeous!

I usually add some sultanas to the apples and a bit of cinnamon

I like the sound of the toffee but will be leaving that out as i want it as low fat as possible.
