    Aww man, thats really unfortunate. But as you hadnt paid a deposit nothing was set in stone and then they were to blame for not writing down the day. I think you are going to have to give up on them and find yourself another band. Infact i'd even ask the band if they have any contacts???

    Hi

    That's really bad form on their part and I feel sorry for you. I'm afraid that professional bands, no matter how far in advance of the date you are should provide you with a contract, whether a deposit is taken or not. Its a golden rule.

    You could try telling them the story you've told us above. Tell them how much they meant to you and your wedding and suggest that perhaps they could reconsider their newer booking as it was their mistake. They wouldn't want bad PR on hitched now would they!? Smiley winking Sadly, I dont believe there's much beyond that that you can do without a contract.
