I'd be annoyed if they weren't coming at all. But if they are still making an effort to show their face...nope. Prob not.

I think i would be a bit upset. I understand that people dont always have the money, but i assume she knew in advance and had time to save?

No. If they can't afford it they can't afford it.i Weddings are expensive for guests.

No - as they'd still be coming to part of it, and money is a sticky issue for a lot of people.

What's annoyed me about mine is having someone say yes, they can make it, then when final details came out, started to say 'oh can't do all of it but can do some', then 'can't do even more of it, but still coming to some', to this Monday saying, 'oh can't come at all.'

This to some people is quite a lot of money!

At least your friend is making an effort and is coming to part of your hen night.

Afraid to say it but not at all. I've had to miss so many of my friends' hen dos because of finances and when you think about how expensive weddings are for guests anyway (with travel, accommodation, transport, baby-sitters, gifts, outfits etc etc) I do think it's quite fair not to expect them to come on hen dos. Plus, in my experience, hen dos invariably end up costing loads more than the organiser originally budgeted for.

Understand that you're feeling blue about it all though but just focus on the fact that there are people who care coming to spoil you - that's the most important thing!

But it wouldn't be just £60 though... There's possibly a new outfit, travel, drinks etc. It soon all adds up!

A little upset maybe, but certainly not annoyed. Especially if they are coming to part of it.
