    As a venue dresser it will be cutting it fine to get it all done in a short space of time. I do Chair covers & they take a while to put on & tie all the sashes on their own. we try to do the bulk of the work the day before.

    Personally i think they are taking you for granted , may-be not intentionally.

    You are setting up the room , could this not be done the night before & they could help you then.
