    Hi,

Just wanted to say i can relate to you completely. We've been engaged for a few months but only really started planning a couple of weeks ago. I think there was about 24 hours where I enjoyed it and that was it!

For parents who initially said they didn't want to be involved in the details - they're certainly getting involved!! I got really upset a couple of weeks ago then promised myself to not get upset about it again because it is a happy time, I'm only doing it once and when it is all over, I'm sure my parents won't feel like it was "as bad" as they thought it was going to be.

i'm sure it is temporary. I'm not surprised I'm not enjoying it though - I've never been someone who has always dreamed about their wedding/wanting "to be a princess for a day" etc. so I'm seeing it as legal part then a big party with friends and I really couldn't care about white chair covers, colour themes, favours and anything else.

Advice to me has been to ask my parents what they want then remind them that its our day and everyone is going to have to compromise and they should understand that we can't just do everything for them. We're seeing family at the weekend and I can't say I'm looking forward to it. ?

Have you downloaded any list templates or anything? I've looked at some but tend to write lists in a notepad I always carry with me and we're using One Drive for the guest list (another bone of contention!!). Good luck and you've always got this space to vent. (This is my first post and am sure it won't be my last!). ?
