Its such a shame when you have to wait isn't it.

We getting married 2010 and a few people we looked at booknig wouldn't let us book til 2009 so they could work out a price that was for 2010 services.

Is there any particular reason why you've chosen turkey? Have you been there before - i haven't but wuld love to go x

Where in turkey are you planning on getting married? Its a beautiful place! Is there somewhere in particular that you want to go? its just i have a friend out works out there for a gorgeous hotel as wedding planner, and i cen recommend her hotel! x

I have to say your soon to be new surname is cool!!! I have very fond memories of turkey, you lucky girl! Its the same in this country, we cant book anything untill 2009 either, its annoying but we know where we want our big day to happen we just have to let the rest of em catch up!!! not getting wed until ****! Have booked the wedding car though!

We have chosen Turkey as that is where we met!! thought it would be nice to get married where we met. Turkey is special to us We have picked the blue lagoon in Olu Deniz. Looks well pretty in the pictures! H2b has been there before and says its lovely. We would go back to where we met, but that was in a 18-30s place.. not quite for a wedding! ha! x

Oh that is a shame, but at least you know when you can book.

I have to admit, we have been quite lucky. We are also getting married in 2010, and have managed to book the "big" things, Venue, register, photographer and hopefully the florist will be done Saturday.

I think you can book into the reistrar's diary in advance, then give notice a year before. That's what we did.

We booked our register about a year and half ago, then as Ali did give notice when you get under the year mark.
