I have soooo much to do. i would ask for a '1 month to go' checklist, but i know that this would only stress me out. we had to postpone our final meeting with the venue yesterday as i have been sooo busy with job hunting and finishing my masters / h2b has been the same with work and not very well, we've not had a chance to go through stuff and make any decisions on what we are doing about certain things.

i *think* i am going to have to change my sig, to 'bluewater is feeling a teensy bit stressed'....

    I feel your pain. I have slightly longer (22 Aug) but I was struck by the realisation this morning that the wedding is Next Month. Eeeeep.

    Hmm, maybe i do need a checklist, if only to help reassure me i have maybe done more than i have. if not, it might give me a kick up the ar5e.

    Erm....this is copied from my "Wedding Planning Bible"....

    Ensure all paperwork is completed,

    Confirm final guest numbers with venue,

    Confirm access times for suppliers,

    Complete and print seating and table plan,

    Contact all suppliers to double-check wedding day arrangements,

    Attend final dress fitting with ALL accessories,

    Check Honeymoon arrangements - (currency, tickets, passports and transport),

    Collect Outfits,

    Collect Rings,

    Collect Order of Sevices, Menus and place cards,

    Agree attendants duties and distribute details,

    Finalise a wedding day contact list,

    Prepare a wedding day schedule and distribute as required,

    Pack for wedding night,

    Pack for honeymoon,

    Arrange where cases and bags are to be taken and who is transporting them,

    Wrap gifts,

    Confirm the "shot list" with the photographer,

    Agree on ceremony seating arrangements and brief Best Man on this,

    Agree who will return the hired outfits,

    Create CD for the ceremony,

    Inform DJ of "first dance" choice,

    Arrange manicures and beauty treatments as required,

    Prepare fees and place into labelled envelopes,

    Brief wedding party of their "on the day duties",

    Another thing is make up a survival box/bag for on the day -

    Lipgloss,

    Compact,

    Hairbrush,

    Hairspray,

    Mints,

    Nail file,

    Safety pins,

    Tissues,

    Deo wipes,

    Perfume,

    Soda water (to remove stains),

    Plasters,

    Pain Killers,

    Indigestion Relief Tablets,

    Rescue Remedy Drops,

    Mouth Spray?!?

    A to do list has been my life saver. I made one on XL with the dates I am aiming for... everything needing done in red ink, once done it was changed to black ink........ I have very few red things left to do now....satisfying (in a sad way, lol) to go through it. Get one made, however you do it!

    I hadnt considered a survival box, despite having a handbag...... thanks for the list!

    I have a lilltle longer....but OMG I have way more than that to do!

    Stress stress stress....maybe I'll be a size 8 by then because of all the stress! lol...... Oh I wish

    Hey date twinney, its frightening, only 4 wks to go and I still have a fair bit to do. I found I was forgetting everything so I wrote a list down, only problem is I lost the list so now I have to do it again and try to make sure I have everything written down. I thought I was so organised but turns out not so much.

    OMG - 1 month! Why oh why did you post this?

    I still have a sh!t load left to do. And I really cannot actually be bothered to do any of it.

    My cheque book has taken a massive beating these past few weeks too.

    Am sure it'll be alright on the night though.

    Oh crap, I shouldn't have read your list ooh la la, I only have just over two weeks to go. Actually writing that down has made me feel the tiniest bit sick! Anyone recommend any first dance DVDs! I think I may have to nick that time machine!!!!
