1 week to go - shrug or no shrug??

narie, 15 October, 2011 at 22:44 Posted on Planning 0 3

This time next week I will be Mrs H! I have nearly got everything sorted (table plan is my job for tomorrow).... but I am beginning to worry about my arms... My dress is a bodice dress in a champagne colour with a belt of sparkles around the hips. I don't often wear strapless tops so am paranoid about my arms and 'back fat' that I noticed during my final dress fitting. I have seen this gorgeous shrug in monsoon but it is ivory - do you think it matters if the colours don't match.. my dress is champagne (vintagy style) and the shrug and dress are different materials... Anyone got any other advice?

I ordered a medium last night on the internet - will have it and see if i need to wear it on the day. Tried on a large in the shop but a bit flappy - so went for a medium.

Mrs P 2be could I ask what your dress is like??

    Hi There Narie,

Sorry always forget to go back and look at threads that i have posted on ?

I'm having my dress made and it will be quite similar to the style below so though the way the cardigan cuts it will be a very "Kate Middleton" look for the evening if it gets a bit chilly. Dont want to wear it before then as I have alot of detail at the top of my dress and the cardigan will hide it ?. What style dress have you gone for? x
