11 days to go and i'm royall pee'd off...

GeordieBarbie, 11 May, 2010 at 14:08 Posted on Planning 0 8

Great fun at the mo - the happiest moment of my life this is supposed to be...

Long story short

Best mate having complications after having the baby last week ☹️

Landlord sprung on us yesterday that we're getting a new kicthen (bathroom is currently being done so up to eyes in building works for the last SIX weeks!) - starting TODAY! No negotiations. Turns out there his old units that he's just ripped out his own house and they're hideous. Except they're the finest "french oak". Yeah right!! So this time tomorrow we're handing in our notice and scarpering after the honeymoon! (been there 7 years ☹️)

BA are trying to *** up the honigmoon ☹️

Arrggghhhhhh!!! It's all going wrong!!! This better be all the crap out the way before the wedding!!

* OK - slight exageration there - we'll be alright - just bloody annoying!!

and breathe... ?

It will all be ok, keep breathing!! Everything will work out, some things arejust sent to try us!

What an idiot landlord though! Have you any idea where you will go? How much notice do you need to give?

Sorry you are having all this stress in the lead up to your wedding. Hopefully that is your share and it is plain sailing from now.

Sorry to hear about your friend as well and I hope she makes a good recovery soon.

What a pain in the bum!! But just breathe and remember not to let any of it spoil your big day! It will come and go before you know it. I hope it all works out

Think about it like this. It's all going wrong now. You're stressed and worried and annoyed. When the wedding day comes and it all comes together, as it unvariably does, the whole day will seem calm, fun and stress free because you can forget about everything and focus on you and your OH. It WILL be fine.

What complications has your friend got? Post partum complications are always alot more dramatic sounding that they really are.

Wowzers Emmy, please stay around until my wedding, you're incredibly calming! GB, sorry this is all happenning at once -I wonder whether you do want to give your notice immediately? Might it be better to just wait until you're back from honeymoon and you can start looking at places properly so you're not worried about everything together? And don't worry, I'm sure your BM will be fine for the big day. x

You sound just like me!!lol Just think something always goes wrong before a wedding, at least u have nearly two weeks left so you can try and sort some of it and hopefully then you will have a smooth ride over the last few days of the run up.

Me, I'm spending the day before the wedding trying to buy some shoes at the rate I'm currently going!
