18th Julyers....how are you getting on?

laraluv42, 2 July, 2009 at 10:58 Posted on Planning 0 22

Hi ladies,

Just having an attack of the panics over having not done enough stuff yet. I did loads last week & seem to have been really laid back this week until now!! Can't believe its actually this month.

I need to get my cheques out to a load of suppliers & get things done like my placecards & table plan etc, little bits of stationary - but they all take ages to do!

Having my wedding cut and colour on Saturday so really looking forward to a bit of a pamper. And then I think I'll try and do a whole day of sorting out wedding stuff on the Sunday.

I need to get my suitcase down from the loft and start packing some honeymoon things I think or I'll forget everything in the rush nearer the time, just stuff like my snorkel and beach towel and anything I can pack in advance!

Hows everyone else doing?

Long range weather forecast nearly goes up to our day!

xxxxxx

Ha! Its good to know someone else is in the same boat.

I'm so hoping for good weather as I've recently booked up an ice cream cart, its so cute. It will look a bit weird though if its tipping it down!

I feel like I'm at the point now where I can think of a few little things that I might want to have, but its sort of pushing it a bit whether they will arrive in time if I order them.

Also my friends sis gave me some lovely flower petal confetti that she forgot to use on her wedding day (this was a few months ago) but I looked at it the other day & its gone all brown! Such a shame as it went with my colour scheme too. Its in lovely bags though so I'll have to substitute it with some of my own confetti I think.

I'm sure I could do the placecards and bits alot quicker, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I want to spend ages trying out different designs!

Hi there - our minister is coming over tonight so at long last we can discuss the ceremony and all that it entails - then I can start to work on the OOS, phew!

I have started to make up my boxes for the tables and thinking about a few odds and ends that need done. The other biggy is mum getting inside the church to see where she can place her flowers..

According to net weather tv website, its going to be cloudy on our wedding day. I dont mind cloud as long as its DRY. It means so much to me for it to stay dry otherwise a lot of plans are totally ruined.

Ooooh, We've got bay trees with ribbon round them to go either side of the aisle. I was practicing tying the ribbon last night and it looks lovely. So bet it will look great!

Oh noooo, on the one I posted the other day it seems to be rainy. I'm just crossing my fingers that its going to change - cause they're not very reliable are they. My poor ice cream cart. Its hard to imagine it being rainy with all the nice weather we've been having. I really really really hope its good weather. I'm really worried now. Going to look at some more weather forecasts to find a more positive one to make me feel better!

    Why are they moaning?

The other day I got a really cute zebra patterned shoulder bag from accessorize for the plane. I love it, I can't stop staring at it.

Hmmm, I did my table plan last night, but I'm afraid to stick it down in case anyone last minute cancels on me! Maybe I should just go for it, I might be tempting fate by leaving it undone

ha! Ok, I'll do the same then? If anyone cancels, I'll tell them they can't because of the linearness.

Jut checked the weather again, looking alot better!!

    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/14days.asp

Is your forecast you checked looking better? How can it change in a day? I don't mind as long as its sunny!!

I love primark pumps, I have approximately ten billion pairs.

Where are you getting married? I feel a bit jealous of people having rehersals, we're having a civil ceremony. So we're just sort of going for it. I'm not even sure what words we say. I'm going to be so nervous!

Getting married in one of village churches... we have the rehearsal on the thursday night ....so everyone knows what door to come in, exit and sit.... and practice walking dad down the aisle to the music. Cept the ministers told us to take our own boogie box as theres isnt very good...
