Hi - do you know any shops / designers / websites that do 50s style wedding dresses (short tea length)?

Thanks

A friend had a 1950s style dress made for her by a local dressmaker in Manchester for £600. Just had a quick scout on the High St sites and there was one in Monsoon - though quite lacy which might not be to your taste.

Last week monsoon had the most GORRRRGEOUS 50's style wedding dress in their sale for £100, Ivory with silver sequin flower design...if I didn't already have my dress I would have picked that one (hadn't seen it before and it certainly wasn't online)

Loads of 'proper' bridal designers are doing short length dresses so I think you'll find that most of the regular ones have at least one in their collection e.g. Maggie Sottero.

Candy Anthony dresses start at £1k for a basic dress.

This dress was gorgeous, I have my own dress but bought this in the sales a couple of weeks ago for the evening dress.... I did take it back in the end though as I simply don't need two dresses - it is lush and a bobby bargain... hurry, run like the wind to Monsoon, Monsoon!

Well i don't have any idea about that, but i can suggest you a link to purchase your bridesmaids dresses. They let you have very nice dresses in very reasonable prices. I will suggest you to have a look because they have many dresses, like prom dresses, cocktail dresses, evening gowns also.

I think I mentioned this before, in another thread, but here goes again,, Stephanie James is now stocking in some UK bridal shops. Her designs are a bit different, and very much in keeping with the whole 1950's look. http://www.stephaniejamescouture.com/
