Not feeling too bad! Was stressing as have not been able to get hold of our priest for nearly 3 weeks! He is like the scarlet pimpernel. Finaly got in to see him tonight, and then need to make an appointent with the new pries as ours is leaving and may not be doing the service!

Just ordered my wedding cake this morning (Romantic pearl in Ivory from M&S) and collect the day before, and ordered some lovey lace topped hold up's from Debinhams (sale on and free delievery) so just need nice knickers now a the ones i wanted from Debinhams were out of stock.

    How are you feeling?

Oh my goodness, I seem to go from being calm one minute and dreading the to do list at the next moment, but i think i have the following to go:

    Suit Fittings

    Pay for Cake

Delegate responsibilities for canape making (drinks reception at church after ceremony)

    Write out place cards

Finish tying bows round candles for centrepieces

Make table names - Photos of London landmarks to be mounted on card.

Buy alternative favours for those who can't eat chocolate (chocolate oranges as favours!)

Directions from church to reception sheet

Grandparents display board - due to the absence of three sets of grandparents, im making a "Weddings through the generations" board in memory of them.

Get everything ready and take to different venues!

Hopefully there isn't too much missing off that list - oh... must wear shoes in to stop blisters!!

Hope you are all doing well xx

Oh dear - not what you want with 3 weeks to go, getting used to a new Priest (although I hope he is easier to track down for you).

I feel quite calm really - although those around me are seriously stressing as my dress isn't in the shop yet nor have I had any fittings.

Not yet they haven't - the manager is phoning me tomorrow morning. I'm not too bad - if all else fails I'll ask for the sample dress.

    Hi girls

Can't believe its only 3 weeks to go....how quickly has that come around?! Everyone does seem pretty organised.

Well, after the shock of finding out that I am pregnant this week I have just thought of quite a few things I have left to do!

    Place cards to write

    Thank-you gifts to order

    Favours to finish

Finishing touches to sweetie table to be done

Playlist to the singer & DJ

Group list of photo's to the TOG

    Make-up lady to be paid

    DJ/Singer to be paid

    Need to speak to Organist

Need to speak top church flower lady

I think that is it really. Im sure there are other things, but I'm finding it so hard to concentrate on anything- I've got baby brain! ? xx

Congratulations on the baby news! Is it your first?

Well i have now remembered i need to re-write my place names as i was not happy with my writing, i paid the florist the other day and they said it was £10 cheaper than i thought but i think now they have forgot to include the mirrored plates i added! Need to give them a call.

Off to do the 30 day shred as i need to tone the bingo wings.

Thanks hun. Yes it is our first, very exciting! We're still in shock really.

How are you writing them? Are you doing first name only or first name and surname? Im not sure what the etiquette is with these. My Mum has just paid for the flowers as well. Almost a grand on flowers we have spent, I almost fell over!

Ooh I have heard of the 30 day shred. It does sound good! ?

Im only doing first names as there is only 50 people at the day time.

My flowers cost no where near that tho, think i would of had a heart attack, just done some recalculations and i got it wrong they were right and im now £10 richer!

Got to email the venue today to confirm all the details from the email they sent and change a few bits.

The 30 days of dread (i mean shred) is brilliant as its only 20 mins each level, starting ww again this morning to lose a few lbs, sort of closing the stabel door after the horse has bolted but never mind, it will all help.

Aaaahhhhhh congrats on the baby news. How exciting.

As for the grand wedding planning list mine's down to this now:

    • Finish the children's favour bags
    • Wrap the page boys' gifts
    • Make the CD for the ceremony music
    • Buy petals to finish centrepieces
    • Buy favours (these are fresh so need to wait a little bit)
    • Write placecards
    • Make table plan cards, table numbers and a couple of signs
    • Buy hair grips!

    That's it now........ i hope!

Oh really??? That's a big help thank you. I've been holding out trying to find some that are on offer or something like that. I need about 200 so didn't want to spend much. Why are bent bits of metal so expensive????

Lol, unfortunately I'm your typical Virgo and things tend to get arranged well in advance when I'm in charge! haha.

You're list isn't long, and it's all little things pretty much. Youre not panicking are you???

Not really pannicing as such, but think the nerves are begining to kick in as its so close! I have already started having wedding related dreams last night and have not had any since i started planning in jan.

I might put the box togethar of bits to take to the venue and make the lists of where all the stuff should go once the tables are set, might keep my mind busy.

H2b is on his stag tonight and just left, so im gonna put the kids to bed and watch x factor with a big bowl of ministrone soup i made earlier.

Know what you mean. I had my first proper wobble last week when we went to the venue to talk about where we would walk, how the chairs would be laid out, the music, the table plans etc. Suddenly hit home that it's all real!!! The dreams are horrible aren't they - I have turned up with no shoes, the dress doesn't fit, the venue is too small, everything went wrong - you name it, I dreamt it. My sister's even started dreaming about it now!!!

I haven't put my box together yet. I'll be spending tonight making the table numbers etc I think.

Where's the stag do then?? Are you worried about it or quite happy that he's in safe hands??

Fruit bat - look at you and your dwindling list! Good luck today with the dress fitting.

Most of the things on my list are last minute, like making things, got ink ordered for the printer to make, table plan and gift tags for favours.

It went really well, thanks - only one little alteration needed to just pull the neckline in a smidge - it looks fine from the front but anyone taller than me would be able to see my bra and down my dress. Maybe if I had a bigger chest it wouldn't happen! The next time I get to wear it is my wedding day!

    ?

I've got quite the opposite problem - I wish mine were smaller!!! Glad the fitting went well though. I've got my final fitting today. They've taken some in off the sides and now across the top at the front (same problem as you) so hopefully that's it today.

    16 more sleeps!!!!
