I get married next week too!! Hello!!

I have just had 2 drop out so have re-arranged the tables as they were looking very odd with 2 more down as most weren't full anyway. I have managed to do it so that they still know people on the table.

I thought the pluses would be: Less cost of: 2 meals, 3 less bottles of wine on table, one less centrepiece, crystals and runners. Comes in at around £100 saved. Also, more space in the room, tables will look more even as I now have 8 on each rather than 2 with 8 on, 3 with 6 on, 1 with 5 on etc.

If we bumped up from the evening, we would have to choose who and also, if I was bumped up i'd feel like second best so this was the best way for us!

In fact, having just worked it out, it will be £120 saved by us reducing by one table. That will get us 3 nice meals out on our honeymoon! glad we never bumped up, ha! ?

If you've already given your final numbers to and paid your venue, do you still make the saving ?

I think bumping up could cause more issues with who to choose. We chose our day guests for a reason so I think a bit of table rejogging will be in order – good job its only today I was going to print off the table plan!
