Fantastic! Is this will power alone? My Dad's 3 weeks in but really struggling.

I was tortured with the scary lung photos from school so have never even had a drag!

Thanks a lot everyone! Appreciate it!

Ddpunk - yes I did it cold turkey with a large helping of will power. Not having to depend on anything is a big relief. Tell your Dad it only gets easier!!

Yay, well done, and keep going! My friend gave up about 2 years ago, and looks 10 years younger now. She is in her late 40's so to turn back the clock that much has been incredibly encouraging for her!

Congrats! I am proud of you in a weirdy internet way. I am no where near quitting, but I am starting to want to.

Good work HMM - he's using will power alone too. He doesn't like the look of those vapour e-cig things, and despite the money he's saving from cigs he tells me patches are far too expensive.

Spoke to the old man tonight and he's not caved. Couldn't believe it when he said he was repulsed by the smell when he walked behind someone puffing away today! He has some mobility problems but says he is managing to walk further and further every day so his GP is super pleased! He's wishing he started this change years ago! Smiley smile

Ddpunk that is awesome! Being able to notice a change in health so quickly is the best thing to spur one on! Happy days :-)
