I got scared last night, seeing the tickers of those I know who are getting married the month after me - seeing theirs at 11 months something gave me a fright - and I started panicking that I still had loads to do - and then I had a scary wedding dream last night!!

Booked/ordered - Wedding package inc. wedding planner, flowers, cake, legal stuff!, cars, ceremony, reception, reception food and drink and decs inc. chair covers, tog and vid tog and private beach for wedding to take place, hair dresser and make up, booked flight and hotel to get to wedding! After party venue,

Bought - my dress, suits (OH, BM and usher), bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dress, rings, invites (already sent them! - everyone wanted a lot of notice), OH's shoes,

To do - Dads suits (will just be a grey suit similar to mens - dad's are larger than average so needed more planning!), veil (have tried on so i know what i want), hoop, jewellery, book hen do and finalise numbers and decide on date!, buy hair stuff for me and BMs (and decide how to have hair!), book honeymoon (decided but need to wait until brochure comes out in the next few weeks!), plan after party (need to decide on buffet or hog roast type thing), shoes, thank you cards, after party invites and decorations, after party entertainment, guest book, favours (ideally i want little fans for my guests and place them on their seats during the ceremony but i can't find any that aren't awfully tacky and cheapish! - why are the nice ones very expensive!)

Hmm.. I have more to do than i thought! All my outfit bits will be bought after my dress comes in, I want to match up the detail, but can't remember what it's like! ? and I'm on the hunt for some pretty wedges! And the after party is very flexible as it's going to be in my FIL2b's pub (nice pub!), so we can get chefs to do food and order in drinks and have free staff! ?

Booked/ordered: Chapel, organist, reception venue, rooms for the wedding night, DJ, photographer, hair and make up lady, car.

MIL2B is making the waistcoats, ties, cake, veil and my dress alterations. She also thinks she has a florist friend who can massively beat our florists quote, so think we'll be going with her.

Bought: My dress, tiara, jewellery, bra, shoes, flowergirl headdress, bridesmaid jewellery, insurance, save the dates (already sent), invitation bits (made up as much as possible), gift for MIL2B, half the favours, a few bits for decorating venue, guest book.

To do: Mens suits, find material for MIL2B to make waistcoats and ties with, bridesmaid and flowergirl dresses, get beads for MIL2B to attach to veil she is making, get hoop, get rings, book honeymoon, meet florist and decide on flowers, sort out wedding music and readings, order of service, table plan, post box, table numbers hair and make up trails, find gifts for my mum and all the male members of the wedding party, make up favour boxes with ribbon and name tags attached, find ribbon and brooches for wedding cake, thank you cards, get bits for sweetie table, choose menu, sort out accomodation for night before wedding for myself and some guests, decide on first dance, playlist for DJ, make confetti cones and get some petals to put in.

    BM is organising hen do.

H2B wants a fleetwood mac tribute band, which I have told him in no uncertain terms that this is something he must organise himself, as I wouldn't know if they were good enough! I don't think this one will materialise in the end!

H2B keeps telling me I'll run out of things to do but it seems like a never ending list!!

Tobes will be wearing the 7 year old version of whatever Rhys chooses, so probably a dark brown suite with an ivory waiscoat and gold cravat

It is under 11months for me Smiley smile

You will start getting motivated and organised as soon as your ticker starts saying 11 months and something ?
