Yeah. My other half isn't coming. He is off to the pub with my dad and his best man! LOL! Going with my mum my matron on honour, cheif bridesmaid and bridesmaid!

Well after visiting the wedding fair, i found a very nice florists, chair covers another possible photographer to see, a balloon company and maybe a make-up artisit!

Well for my first wedding fair, really enjoyed it! Roll on the next one in October!! ?

Anyone else have a "wedding related" weekend?

I got mine recently too, although everyone thinks Im being nuerotic, the truth is I am just organised and have known my wedding dress style since I was like 5 ? Have you shown your dress to many people? I havent shown anyone cept my sister, as i got fed up of my mum/ younger sister criticising every dress I liked.

How's thing people?? I still haven't got any further with booking anything but with XL going bust and flight prices going up will force the budget a bit. Also, as XL was one of the direct flight providers to Tobago, we'll have to choose between Virgin or BA. Hmm, choices, choices!

Well things are kinda slow really - we cant do anything until 15th Oct once our venue is secured with the contract signing.

I know who I want to book for the string quartet and the cake, but I cant book any of this until we have the venue secured which is frustrating cos people seem to be putting thier prices up around this time of the year. I got my dress though YAY !!

Well we are at a stalemate with planning, we are seeing a florist at the beginning of October and I am pretty sure about what type of cake I like.

I keep getting asked what my theme is hmmmmm I am pretty sure I want gold or turquoise bridesmaids but until I know what dress I want then I can't say for sure. I really don't want to start dress shopping for at least another 6 months, I want to lose 3 stone before then so I am joining weight watchers next week.

I want to lose weight before I go looking, but it's getting harder to resist having a little look in the shops, I suppose I could always order something in a smaller size............!!

If you prefer to wait then do so. I'd love to wait, but as I work in the bridal industry and see dresses every day, they all start to look the same after a while. So as soon as I saw the one that made me go wow, I had to find out more, and it turns out it could be discontinued sometime in the next year, so to play it safe I am going to buy it.

I don't blame you for buying now, it's such a beatutiful dress. I imagine waiting 6 months would probably see price increases to, plus if I don't see anything now I could always wait for the new collections to come out.

I am talking myself into having a look in the shops aren't I lol !!!!!!

Well seeing 2 photographers next weekend. And florist end of october.

Paid the registers deposit this week. So all seems very real.

Really want to start looking at dresses, but i have lost 4 stone already with weight watchers and looking to lose 1 or 2 more to feel comfortable, so have managed to resist looking and trying on yet!

Really worried that our budget is going to become very very small and tight now, as i am starting university in february to become a midwife, so i will be losing half of my wages... so we will see what happens!!

We have the date and time of ceremony secured - will pay balance as soon as we give notice - apparently thats quite unusual as most registry offices wont reserve a date til you do give notice. DJ and Photographer both booked and deposits paid for.

We are looking at changing our wedding breakfast/evening reception venue - will loose £750 deposit on one originally booked but will save 3 grand in long run as the new venue do all table decs, drinks package etc as one price. Just need to scrape together deposit before the date goes ..........

Cars are chosen - as is cake design - and colour scheme - and i am also looking a BM dress styles.

Dress is the one thing i am dreading to be honest - last time i wore a dress was at school under protest!!!

I booked an appointment at a shop to try my dress on again and to pay the deposit and order it ?

Can I add mine please. Getting married for the second time on 24th July 2010. We wanted the week after and were shocked it was booked up where we wanted to get married. We can't get married before summer 2010 as I want my granddaughters to be bridesmaids, and the youngest was only born last week!
