Hi just thought I would create a post for us and find out how we are all doing............

So far I have booked:

    Cool!

    I've booked, car, photographer, hair and make up, flowers, chair covers, bought my dress, bridesmaids dresses, table settings, designed cake and obviously booked the venue!

    Happy days!

    Whats the colour scheme you've gone for? i'm a cadbury purple!!!

    chocolate fountain

    chosen cake

    chosen flowers

    meeting with a photographer and a company to dress the venue tomorrow...a very weddingy day!

    I am having pink, white and silver with roses as my flowers, candles and try ti incorporate them else where too,,

    So exciting we have done so much and it still feels like a lifetime away, I am glad I am not the only one who has their dress yipee x

    Still feels like ages away although its nearly a year since we got engaged so passing quickly x

    Im really trying very hard not to get my dress yet...its my motivation to lose weight before i go to try some on.

    some companies laugh when i say that my wedding is 18months away, others are completely booked up! i want to start doing something now, like making invitations or SOMETHING!

    Picked Cake - just need to book

    Bridesmaid dresses

    My Dress (putting down a deposit saturday)

    Invitations - received a sample last weekend just need to book

    Picked Suits - just need to book

    And I'm meeting a Photographer on Friday

    Blimey you ladies don't waste any time! Smiley smile I'm hoping for a March 2011 wedding. We're off to see some venues this week. I've got everything I need to make my stationary winging it's way to me as we speak, I know what decoration I want, going to see some dresses on sale this sunday.

    I'm doing my own hair and make up (done a bit of modelling so I'm used to it), a photographer friend is helping us out, we're doing our own music on an ipod and don't need cars as we're having reception and venue in same place

    Our colours are deep red, black and white. Think True Blood, Twilight, New Orleans sexy style...ooh and this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvDThCQFbUA

    Edit: cake to come from M&S with some fake roses, table decs are going to be church candles with fake ivy and rose petals

    Morning Ladies,

    It's good to know i'm not the only 2011 bride stupidly orgainised, lol!

    Ok so i'm 26th Feb and our colour scheme is Baby BLue and white and i have......

    Venue booked

    Registrar booked and notice given

    Dress ordered (looking for shoes now)

    Bridesmaids and flower girl dresses brought (buying their jewellery today)

    Waistcoats and shirts brought (suit hire to be done December)

    Hair and make up booked

    Rings brought

    Flowers booked and paid for

    Cake topper ordered (will be having M&S cake so will order closer to the time)

    Table decorations brought and delivered

    Favour bags brought (will buy the sweets closer to the time)

    DJ booked

    Stationary brought (will be making invites over the summer)

    Just in the process of sorting chair covers with the lovely Sherrie now

    First meeting with photographer tonight

    My god when it's put down like that i feel wwwwaaaaayyyyy to over organised, lol, would rather have it done now tho then panicking closer to the time.

    I thought i was organised blimey!!!!!!! Some of u ladies are nearly finished!!!!! I've been planning mine for 8months so far and ive done the following....

    Save dates slowly being given out

    I have been dress shopping twice but havent found anything with wow factor yet!!!!!!

    Morning Ladies ?

    I’m a May 2011 Bride and so far we have:

    Decided on a theme

    Chose our CBM, BM’s, Pageboys, and Usher

    Booked the photographer

    Booked the Vintage Cars

    Booked the Church

    Reception is booked and paid for (including the DJ & Food)

    Booked and confirmed the décor for the reception venue

    Sorted the Cake (H2B’s mother does cakes)

    1st Dress appointment is on Saturday

    H2B has found the suits he would like and where he would like to get them from

    We’ve been very busy sorting it all out but luckily everything has fallen into place and we feel so lucky. I guess it was just meant to be ? My H2B has been very hands on also with planning so it’s took a lot of weight off my shoulders so to speak.

    mine is 5th Feb 2011 and have quite a lot booked etc, colour scheme is Cadbury Purple dress for me, whites, lilacs and silver

    I have booked the following;

    Venue booked, caterer here too

    Registrar booked and notice given

    Dress ordered to be made - Cadbury Purple - first measurements Sept and first see of dress Late autumn

    1 x Bridesmaid dress ordered (being made)

    Hair and make up booked

    Flowers booked and paid for

    Cake topper ordered - one of the personalised ones

    Cake ordered - 5 tier cake of cheese (hehehe)

    Favour bags brought

    DJ booked

    Stationary to be ordered but know which one

    Table runners bought

    Photographer booked

    Choc fountain booked

    no transport booked as not required

    OMG... fairly organised

    Hello ladies. 12 March 2011 for us. So far we have:

    Registrar booked, notice given

    Venue booked, 30 rooms reserved with early check in

    Dress ordered (found it on Saturday!)

    Menswear mostly sorted (OH wearing his kilt, need to hire the others)

    DJ booked

    Tartan ribbon bought (for my bouquet and round the cake hopefully)

    Save the dates ordered, arrived and sent out

    Invitations ordered

    Cake topper bought

    Bridesmaids' jewellery bought

    Pencilled in with the photographer, just need to meet up with him to have a chat and make sure we get on

    In communication with a florist

    I think we just have cake, bridesmaids' dresses, wedding rings and my shoes/underwear/veil/tiara, hair and make up left to sort out? Please let me know if I've missed anything obvious ?

    Hi August 2011, and nowhere near as organised a half of you. so far:-

    Venue

    Regstrar

    Photog - professional photog friend of mine (for free!!)

    flowers booked

    my dress

    my shoes

    no car needed

    have lady doing invites so just waiting to hear back from her

    make up and hairdresser booked (my usual hairdresser and friend who's a beautician)

    cake - prob M&S

    still lots to do, but as it's so far away i've spent the time searching for bargains and taking the opportunity when they arise!

    wish i could get the BMs dresses sorted, but they're both teenagers so no point buying yet as they are still growing!

    so far i have booked reception venue and church.... thats about it so far

    i have lots of ideas about everything else

    going to try on dresses for the first time next week

    ....with my wedding July 2011, should i b worried i avnt dun more by now??

    Well if this makes the last few of you feel any better, I am June 2011 and so far have booked - NOTHING!!!!!!

    I was originally a 2012 bride so was very laid back about booking things and taking my time but a few weeks ago we decided to bring the wedding forward and now I think I may run out of time quickly!!!

    I have a viewing at a venue on Sat which I am pretty definite will be the one we go for and I went dress shopping for the first time today and am pretty sure I found "the one" so hopefully this time next week I will feel alot more organised!!!!

    Hi Girls,

    I'm getting married August 2011-most people think I am way ahead of myself so feel better knowing there are others just like me!

    So far have booked:

    Church

    Marquee

    Caterers (and had tasting)

    Photographer (family friend)

    Wedding dress

    Shoes

    Flowers (were doing ourselves as Mum is a florist)

    Hair and make up (family friend)

    People keep telling me I'll have nothing left to do, but I'm loving every minute and know I wont be stressed out as the wedding gets closer!

    I'm having silver....but i want sparkles if that makes sense ...i am going to be meeting with the table decorator who has some fab ideas including using irredesant (think thats how you spell it) glitter on the table in place of crystals

    Well, im having the purple bridesmaids dresses. lilac beaufort convertable, purple cupcake tower, purple flowers......and i'm having purple shoes!!
