I'm equal parts excited and terrified! One month tomorrow until I have to walk up that aisle. It's definitely not just you looking forward to it though.

To be honest the last 7 months have flown for me!

Im stupidly excited about being able to casually say 'Yeah we are getting married later this year'.

I dont usually drink alot but I have a bottle of our champagne ready to toast our special year at midnight.

It's actually getting quite scary how fast the time is going. Still need to do some major things like catering and honeymoon!!

Me too!!! Still got to make and send invitations, book honeymoon, get bridesmaids, best man, groom and flowergirl outfits, flowers, music, cars, DJ... the list is huge and only 11 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, very excited. Think I scared my next door neighbours into reality (who are getting married a fortnight before us) - 270 days to go!!!

Also a little melancholic that was my last Christmas with my surname, but very glad my parents could share it with us as they were a bit worried about the snow!!!

It's strange really to say "I Get Married This Year!!" all my friends are really excited, specially my bridesmaid Charlotte (Bless her) i just can't seem to acknowledge it! It's been stressful i must admit, i'm glad we didnt leave it 2 years like we originally planned!....People keep saying "ohhh this time next year you'll have just had your first christmas been a Mrs", but i just smile...maybe its just hidden nerves!!

Not really, to be honest.

It's always been "September 2011" to us, not "next september" or "9 months from now" or whatever.

Yes, there's lots still to do, but the main thing is my b2b's dress, but apart from that, if it doesn't get done we'll get by without it. For us, the vows are the most important thing of the day, not the photos, the dresses, the reception, the honeymoon, stressing over matching ties, table decorations, etc etc.

I just can't wait to share the same surname as my H2B. That's the thing that I'm most excited about, that we'll be Mrs and Mrs D ? But I've got so long to go... Sigh. You lucky lucky 2011 Brides/Grooms

Excited, yes in a way, but not in the whole counting down the minutes thing like many here seem to. Just like christmas and birthdays, it doesn't get here any faster, so yes I'll enjoy the day when it's here, the culmination of all our plans, and declaring our love for each other into a legally binding agreement in front of friends and family, then once the registrars are out of the way having a short Christian ceremony/blessing to 'seal' it appropriately for us.

Incidently, my b2b's intials will become CJD ... very apt, I think.

LOL my poor Oh hears it every day as ages ago I downloaded a Wedding Countdown widget for my desktop and as soon as I put my laptop on it brings up the "Ticker". Currently says "11 months, 24 days, 15 hours, 54 minutes and 40 seconds"!!!

I should point out that the H2B is just as bad as me... He's like "this time next year we'll be married" and then finishes it off with "and then we can get started on having some little buggers..."

It's both funny, and slightly disturbing in equal measure!

Im far too excited!!.. I even keep sending reminders on facebook to my bridesmaids and mum saying how many weeks to go LOL!!.. And its funny to wind OH up about it as hes absolutely S***ing himself.. hes sooo shy!.. x
