    Not bad havent done a massive amount but its all in my head lol. i have my dress and we have chosen the venue just need to put deposit down but will do that this week or next. my ring is sorted, photographer is sorted as he is a family friend! cake is being made by a friend as she does it as a hobby! how about you?

    We're getting married in Sept 2013 and so far just have the venue booked - also ready to sign contracts with our TOG and I've chosen my dress and bridesmaids dresses.

    My friend is doing my hair so that's pretty much sorted, but haven't trialled anything yet! I'm doing my own makeup and decorating!

    Venue booked and TOG booked and thats it!!!?

    Went wedding dress shopping for the first time yesterday and am more confused now than ever as to what dress I want! Loved trying on all the dresses though!

    OH and I really need to pull our fingers out and get booking! How is everyone else doing!? Hope I am not the only one who is having trouble making final decisions and just doing it!

    Were July 2013 and have the venue booked and just paid tog deposit today. Had a meeting with caterers Saturday so will be paying the deposit for them soon too. Oh yea and my dress is in, I will be trying it on next week ?

    I'm another that hasn't actually got much booked, but have pretty much everything that we want in my head. It's just the actual act of booking things that we're being a bit rubbish with at the minute!

    I have a week booked off work in 3 weeks and I'm going dress shopping, I'm not really looking forward to it but sure I'll enjoy it!

    We're May 2013 so far we have venue and tog booked. Dress ordered, mine and bridesmaid shoes bought (sales, couldn't say no) save the dates bought, chair covers and centre pieces booked, flowers booked and car booked.

    Just loving this planning stage it's all so exciting. Need to get something to keep me occupied for after the wedding otherwise I'm going to feel really flat.

    Were August 2013 and we booked and paid deposits on all the major things straight away so now we're at a bit of a lull!!

    We've booked venue, registra, band, cake, florist, and TOG. Im trying to convinve my OH that we need a VOG now!

    September 2013 here!

    Finally have a date confirmed with Church and the venue is on hold for the same date.

    Going to see it with Ma and Pa and OH on Thursday to confirm.

    Nothing else is done yet!

    Want to leave the dresses for a while so I can lose some more weight.

    Anyone else booked 14th September?

    I'm March 2013

    So far I've got venue sorted and paid for in full, I've got my dress and shoes, registrar booked, TOG booked, Toastmaster booked, photo booth booked, H2B has designed invitations, save the date magnets should be here by end of Feb so I'll get them out beginning of March to give a year's notice. Next thing I want to get booked is the cars, we've chosen the ones but just need to wait until next pay day to get the deposit ready. We looked at rings last weekend so have an idea of what we want but need to get those ordered soonish so the price stays the same.

    I really want to get one with the crafty bits like blinging up my shoes, making the card post box, etc but am trying as hard as I can to leave that until nearer the 6 month mark!

    We are October 2013 and have the following done:

    • booked venue and caterers
    • booked photographer
    • booked bridal hotel
    • ordered my dress
    • bought bridemaid dresses
    • ordered suits
    • started collecting centrepieces (as doing these myself)

    Next on list is cake and honeymoon!

    I've booked the venue, registrar, tog, florist, chair cover, dress fittings and I've bought a few decorative bits.

    Also sorted my cake and half my invitations are made!

    For our June 22, 2013 wedding:

    We have our venue (and everything that goes with it- guests rooms, catering, decor, etc.)

    We've emailed our chosen TOG to ask for his details to send the deposit over to him, but he hasn't gotten back to us just yet.

    I've been speaking to a dressmaker about my chosen dress, and she's getting fabrics to send me, but I won't order until July.

    I ordered invitations because they were on sale- I only paid £50 total for all the day and evening invites.

    Made the wedding website (though I'm adding to it over time).

    Bought 10 huge vases I no longer think I want to use, so have no idea what to do with them.

    Bought/made a bracelet.

    Started planning the hen/stag trip for this December; early, I know.

    Made tons of mood boards, pins on pinterest, and sets on polyvore, dreaming about the look of the wedding.

    And now I'm stalled for a little while; putting it on hold Smiley smile

    We are 8 Sep 2013, so far booked the venue and TOG. OUr save the date magnets arrived today and are fab! I'm looking at making our invites, table cards, and cake as we're on a tight budget! Haven't even started with bridesmaids dresses or my dress. My OH still hasn't even asked anyone to be his bestman - hes torn between two and they've not been the best that a friend should be lately......and we've been engaged since May!

    marquees - they were cheaper than hiring! (bought two smaller ones instead of one massive one!)

    material to decorate

    wedding dress

    BM Dress

    My shoes, BM's shoes & H2B's shoes

    H2B & Best Man's suits

    we've booked:-

    photographer - paid deposit

    hair for me & BM on the morning

    Church

    Reception venue

    coming along nicely but now starting to panic that I need to get moving with bits!

    I feel really behind now!

    We're getting married October 5th 2013 (hopefully).... so far all we have is my dress, bought it on a whim at a Wedding Fayre last Friday.

    We know the venue we want and have been speaking to them but haven't booked it yet and probably won't until end of April as that is the first chance we'll get to go and see it again (looked at it last year but would like another visit just to make sure) and obviously can't book registrar until then....

    I don't really know what to do next now.... i probably won't go bridesmaid shopping until next year, i think we'll either be making our cake or getting it from M&S, we don't need cars as all in one venue; we know the singer we want for the evening but obviously can't book until venue confirmed, the venue includes food so don't need to find a caterer, we think we've chosen our invites from Vistaprint but probably won't buy for a while..... I don't know when to do flowers really, i have absolutely no idea what i want!

    At the moment i'm trying to get some ideas for centrepieces so i can start collecting stuff but keep coming up blank!

    Hi everyone!

    I'm getting married on Thursday 31st October 2013, so far only booked venue and sorted the photographer (luckily a family friend is doing it!) Apart from that, I've booked nothing else....

    Went window shopping with mum today, had a look at dresses but did not try anything. I have vowed to lose a certain amount of weight and my 'reward' will be dress shopping. Scared to book anything else just yet as I keep changing my mind about things! Although next job will be finding and booking a DJ/ Disco I expect. I'm so excited but trying not to wish away 2012!

    April 2013 and we've booked... Tog Vog Florist Photobooth Old fashioned sweetie cart/buffet thing Venue Church Choir Bell ringers Table runners Lanterns for outside venue at night White royal mail post box And I that's it so far! Don't really need to get anything else sorted for a while really as not sending save the dates until Summer

    Venue booked

    Photographer booked

    Invitations designed and brought.

    Registrar provisionally booked (need to pay the rest before the fees go up in April!!!)

    Table centre pieces brought (just need to arrange fresh flowers to fill them nearer the date).

    Paper/card/craft stuff brought to design own menus (when we decide what food we having nearer the time)

    Grooms suit brought.

    Cake stand brought

    Some decorations for the venue brought.

    Save the date card designed ordered and distributed.

    Gift bags for guests brought.

    Some non perishable favours brought. (molton brown and cath kidston miniatures got some bargains in the sales)

    Vintage style trunk brought for our wedding cards and honeymoon donations.

    i think that is it so far.

    I'm getting married in 2013 too (hence me reading this thread) but I'm taking the unconventional approach of waiting for a last minute deal from my preferred venue. I'll be shopping for things like my dress, BM dresses etc in the meantime. You ladies are all so organised!

    We only set our date a couple of weeks ago, it will be 8th May 2013 in Positano, Italy. We have booked the ceremony and that's it so far. We think we know where we want to stay and have our reception, just waiting for their 2013 prices to come out. We have also been in touch with a wedding planner. We're not in a major rush to do anything else really, dress shopping will have to wait until this May I think until I have lost some more weight and saved up some money!

    I am 15 June 2013 and so far I have only booked my venue and ordered some centrepieces.

    I have so many ideas in my head but dont want to buy everything too early.

    Should I be doing more at this stage??

    i'm having silk so that was easy, but florists do get booked up quickly especially if they are good florists!! just like anything else

    This thread has scared me by how organised you all are! One good thing is that it has given me the kick up the backside I needed and I have just emailed a florist that has been recommended to me, so that's a good thing!

    We are 21st July 2013 and we have:

    Venue - Booked

    Tog - Booked

    DJ - Booked

    Decorations - Booked (Table Runners, glass bowls, few balloons)

    Save the dates - Sent

    Flowers - currently being sorted

    Cake - Family Friend

    I've also started buying little bits as I see them - Sweet jars,tongs, table menu holders, Mr & Mrs xxx Letters, Bubbles, Ribbon, Name Place Card designed, pic n mix style bags. Love is sweet signs, Signing frame, cream metal frame, Scatter Gems.

    I'm glad to see its not just me who is organised!
