2015 brides, what have you booked/bought thus far?

Nah u have ages yet like me. Found my dress booked Mia only coz I found her at a show along with my photographer at the same show. Il sort florets nearer the time booked venue they do most the other bits like cars dj food decor hotel room for night maybe that y I'm not stressing lol

I'm April 2015 and all we've done is book the venue! met with a florist and waiting for a quote also. I'd say you've been super organised!!

Im a may 2015 bride and have done nothing other than flipped through a brochure, that's not because im not excited I really am... but we want to go abroad and can't book any thing until the 2015 prices are out which isn't until January with virgin and April with Thomas cook! my fingers are itching!!

So far I have booked the Church and the Wedding Venue, and decided I am decorating my own cake! (Buying it from M&S though!) I have also sent my Save the Dates, and ordered some materials for the invitations as we are making them ourselves! Oh and I've found my favours! I'll be ordering them in January!

I am planning on booking the TOG, DJ, Florist and Wedding Car in the new year - I have researched most elements, i just need to contact them and obtain quotes!

I want to do everything now, as I am sooooo excited! I'm waiting until Summer 2014 to start dress shopping as I don't want to pick something now, and then change my mind if I see other designs!

I am an April 2015 bride and so far we have booked and paid the deposits for the venue, TOG, band and my dress. We have chosen the kilt that Groom and his men will wear so I have been looking at BM dresses in similar colours but won't be able to go shopping until Summer next year as one BM is pregnant and one is trying. In the New Year I am going to a wedding exhib so hoping to be able to arrange invites / cake / photobooth ect then. I am hoping to make my own favours (wine glass charms) I'd also like to make my own invites but not sure I will find the time - 2 little kids and a full time job leaves no time to myself!!

I reckon you have done great so far. Sooo exciting isn't it!! I can't wait for the 1st Jan so we can say 'WE GET MARRIED NEXT YEAR'!!!

We're September 2015 and have booked more or less everything that needs to be booked- TOG & VOG, catering, that kind of thing, venue is paid off.

We still have a few deposits to go down on hair & make up, band and a couple of other things, but all suppliers have been chosen & we're just waiting on contracts and things to be sent over. Anything we're doing DIY, i'm slowly getting done every time we have a bit of time off, such as table runners. Still a fair way to go there!

You're definitely not lagging though, don't worry! Keep in mind that based on apparent average time to plan a wedding (18 months last I heard), many people who will be getting married in mid-late 2015 aren't even engaged yet.

We've shot weddings planned from start to finish in 3 weeks so you have plenty of time really ?

All we have done is book venue and church.

I have spent hours researching stuff though!! I have spreadsheets and loads of ideas. But i dont want to commit to anything unless i change my mind about theme! Im known for being indecisive!

THe photographer is next on our list of things to book.

We want to do that in Jan/Feb.

After that I dont think we will do anytihng until the summer hols. We have a budget for the wedding and we are just frantically saving at moment so that next summer we will have an idea of how much money we will have for all the extras!!

Oh and im dead excited about being able to say next year we are getting married!! I was also excited to buy him a fiancee xmas cards! Its the small things!!

With regards to the 1st of Jan... at the stroke of midnight, that will be me....screaming.... we're getting married next year

I've now also looked at and ordered a sample Save The Date from Vistaprint, oh my word, how I like their designs and prices! If the sample comes through ok, I will definitely be getting all the stationary from there. You have all done so well and cant wait to keep in touch with you all over the next 12 months, so exciting! x

I am am decorating the venue myself and have started collecting things and making things

Next on my list is to book some music and decide if I want a video person.

I'm the same, not sure if I want a VOG but, knowing me, if I don't have one I'll regret it?!

I've known my hairdresser for years that's the only reason I have booked.

Oh my gosh you're all very organised!! We've booked venue (package deal for ceremony, meal and evening reception), registrar and tog, that's it! Have also bought a few bits for centrepieces, have asked brothers gf to do my hair and am hoping to do bouquet (mixture of flowers and brooches) myself but have nothing ready for it! I am hoping to really get a move on in new year when Christmas is over and done with!

We are november 2015, just booked venue today and will sort the registrar tomorrow. other than maybe the photographer it seems ridiculously early to be thinking about booking anything else!

Yes, it does seem early to be booking suppliers, however a lot more couples are booking ahead, the suit hire company we are using have had a booking for 2016!

Heavens! that's bonkers. i suppose i might be more bothered if it was peak season but given that when i booked the registrar this morning she said i could pick my time and they hadn't even had any other enquiries for our date i think we'll be ok for a while yet. will probably sort out some save the dates soonish though :-)

We're getting married 1st August 2015. So far we have a venue and caterer (they come together), a photographer, and I have paid the deposit on my dress.

I have also started collecting buttons for my button bouquet (which my mum is hoping to make), and some china tea cups and saucers which I will be using for centrepieces on our tables.

This is as far as we have got so I think you're doing ok, not lagging behind us anyway! I would like to start looking into music arrangements next year, we need a DJ for the evening although my OH is also toying with the idea of asking some of his friends who DJ to pre-record a mix / set which can just be played through a sound system. This would still mean hiring the system and lights etc. though so I might leave that in OH's hands to organise!

EDIT: Ohh just remembered, we've also booked the registrar! I always forget that one because the OH sorted it out, I've done everything else so far.

We're getting married Feb 2015 and so far have only booked the church and reception venue. Our plan is to enjoy Christmas and then get organised in the new year when we can say next year we are getting married!!!

We've got my dress and my shoes and a huge Pinterest board, and the beginning of a wedding website.

We're looking at venues and still working out what we want but asked to reserve a venue for our reception. Our wedding's not going to be that traditional and because we want it on a Saturday in the summer, we're struggling to find places to let us get married but have our reception elsewhere! I refuse to give in1
