Easier said than done I know, but calm and breathe! If I was you I'd ring them when they open on Tuesday and find out whats going on and when its due.

It could have been snow delayed. Don't fret - it's a quiet time of year and the seamstress will be an expert. She'll be able o sort everything in a week or two without problem. Keep breathing and take Noodle's advice and call first thing on Tuesday.c

My friends dress got caught up in the ash cloud thing earlier this year - as it was coming from Holland it all turned out ok - but def call Tuesday to see what is happening - I cant understand why dress shops in general wouldnt call just to let you know what was going on - just bad customer service in my eyes but Im sure everything will turn out fine!!

Sounds like it might be snow related. Do you know where it is coming from? Mine arrived two weeks late from America. Fingers crossed its here next week and then once you have had your first fitting they should be able to do the alterations in just a few days.

And I think most seamstresses will work on a priority basis rather than first come first stitched, so you'll be bumped to the front of the queue.
