3 1/2 month point, should I be doing anything else? HELP!!

Hi,

Girls I really need your help. I am not very organised with the wedding so can someone tell me if I've missed anything important?

Finalised stuff

Cake

Flowers

Venue

Meals

Cars

Meeting with tog next week

Trying to meet with dvd guy

Dress fittings start in April

Got shoes, veil, tiara, jewellery and my something old, new, borrowed and blue

Still need to make bm's jewellery and hair accessory and trying to decide on a bag for her

BM will get her own shoes

BM dress has been ordered

I've ordered and confirmed my invitations and guest book

I'm making my place cards, table plan and menus

Looking at readings now

Don't have a clue about vows (will I meet the registrar beforehand)?

Groom is sorting his own stuff including best man and usher

Got flowergirl dress but still to make her wand and hairband

Not really bothering too much about wedding party presents

MOB is sorted apart from shoes

So am I missing anything really obvious?

Sorry Lyns, can't help because I am far less organised than you but I just wanted to say I love love love that version of that song!!! Good choice!! x

Well I can't really help as I only have 9 weeks to go and I haven't done half the things on your list!! So you are pretty organised I reckon ?

Hi Lyns,

I'm the same timescales as you and I think you are well on track and about the same stage as me. I have the following still to do (off the top of my head):

Print off the readings on nice card

Send out invitations

Agree on food for the day and get menus printed

Get table names printed (alongside menus)

Bridesmaids gifts (probably just costume jewellrey to go with dresses already bought)

Groom, Ushers and Dads to still hire suits (H2B reckons it's too early to start thinking about it)

Arranged some special treats for H2B on honeymoon - done this but waiting for confirmation.

Final dress fitting in April

List of songs to go to DJ

Final vows, readings and music to go to registrar

Painting buckets for the flower arrangements

Make-up and hair trial - all booked but scheduled for March

Book my hair hi-lights in two weeks (they only work 12 weeks in advance so can't book for May yet Grrrrr)

Finalise the day schedule

Gift List to arrange (going with my Step Mum on Saturday)

Find a guest book and pen for the day

Music loaded on to ipod for back-up (in case DJ doesn't turn up or is rubbish) - that's just me being a control freak though.

Write out name cards for tables

Make 'Thank you' cards so don't have to worry about these when back from honeymoon.

I think that's it - but will probably miss loads off.

Hi,

God not even thought about honeymoon clothes! Ekkkk. I'm hoping to be a different size in 3 months so will buy last minute and if I can fit into 2007 holiday clothes that would be even better. I need to go shopping for wedding day underwear so will do that in the next few weeks.

My hen do has been a disaster so I'm cancelling the plans originially made and starting again!

You have reminded me that I need to phone for my hair trial so thanks.
