30 day shred- anyone currently on it or done it before?

mariannechuaphotography, 4 January, 2013 at 12:43 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 15

I'm on day 2, just wondering if anyone else out there has found it worked well, it seems to be trending right now...

I've used it a few times but I've never managed to stick it out for the full 30 days only due to my laziness :-)

I find it really good, I tend use it on days I can't make it to the gym and I'll be starting it again next week however I have used it without going to the gym as well. It does REALLY hurt your body after a few days but when I was doing it and not going to the gym as well my other half said he could see the difference in my legs and bum, more toned etc.

I get a little bored with sticking to the 1st work out for 10 days so I tend to switch between the 1st and 2nd workout.

    How are you finding it?

Really really hard! I'm impressed at how much of a sweat I work up, I'm really hoping it'll bring tone all round. Had to supplement a 20 min with a 15 min yesterday because I didn't have the time and had to run for a train, but generally it's been promising!!

Me! I'm on day 4! Was going to ask the same question as finding it a tad hard/repetitive and hoping someones inspirational story about how much wait they've lost will keep me going! x

    Hiya,

I did it for a while last year, it was really good, can get a bit boring after a while though. I found that I was just getting annoyed with her voice, so after a while I started putting my headphones on so I could listen to some motivating music!

I didn't notice much difference on the scales, but did notice a big difference with measurements, especially around the tummy ?

I broke the chain after about day 5 rofl. It wasn't intended, I just had to get a train to visit a friend, kind of didn't want to do it in her living room, and woke up too late to have time to do it, and it kind of went from there. I intend to restart it again from day 1.

Don't give up, keep on it!

    Hi Everyone,

I did this about this time last year. I found it hard to start but it did get slightly easier (although level 3 was a killer). I didn't manage to do the whole 30 days as i find it hard to keep the momentum up if i have to miss a day for whatever reason.

I found the DVD combined with healthy eating on My Fitness Pal made a huge difference. My thighs really slimmed down and i'm sure it was from the DVD. I've got a couple of her others, one was quite boring but No More Trouble Zones is fab.

I got engaged last december and planning to get married next april/may. I know i really need to get moving as i want to lose a good stone before then but struggling with motivation.

    Anyone got any tips?

I can relate to that. I remember trying to wash my hair in the shower the next morning and really struggling to force my arms up there. I do think there is something satisfying about wincing every time you have to sit down or lift anything tho!!!

ive heard great things about the Davina DVD's from a couple of friends.

10 weeks is totally fine. Short enough so you can see the end goal but long enough to make a difference!

    Good Luck

I did this prior to my wedding with great results, especially my legs and stomach. I didn't do each level for 10 days I mixed it up a bit as I got bored but it really works with healthy eating.

I did this but only managed a couple of days and got ill, haven't had chance to restart yet but plan too. Some of my friends are doing it also and have had huge differences after completing the first level x

I was in agony after day 1 and 2 until I was advised to do more stretches at the end as she doesn't do enough in the cool down hence the pain. I was walking like John Wayne for days!

I had a baby four weeks ago and I've still got a very sore back. Would this be too much for me you think? From other people's experiences how much does it work your back?

I personally think it would be too much at the moment. Although some of the moves may seem easy its a lot of strain so soon. Also you shouldn't really do to much until after your check-up
    Happy Baby though =D xx
