4 weeks 4 days to go and....

mattsgirl, 4 July, 2012 at 16:08 Posted on Planning 0 6

Due to a family fall out (Long story, dont go there!!!) I have now lost my 2 flowergirls 2 ushers and a bridesmaid. This has not been a good fortnight for me and the rest of my family at all, as a close family member also passed away the week before the family fall out. Our wedding was quite small to begin with and now along with other people dropping out we only have 27 guests including us now for the day. I just don't know what to do. I'm so fed up of it all. Sorry to moan it just feels like the closer our wedding is the worse everything gets. ☹️ I'm not excited anymore and I feel I still have loads of things to do/ organise.

Can totally understand why you would feel like that, but don't let it get to you. The main thing is that you and H2B are there, and I'm sure you'll have a fantastic day. Chin up xx

That's a real shame. People can be right selfish twunts and have no idea what stresses weddings can cause, removing people out of the bridal party is obviously annoying for you but how about the young ones now being told they don't get to join in?

What has caused this? Is there any chance it can be resolved in time?

No I don't think it will or can be resolved in time, and it all mounts down to selfish spoilt family members. They have said some very hurtful things to me, which is confusing as i've not said anything to them and made it clear they dont want anything to do with us. ☹️ But we have had a feeling they wanted to exclude themselves for a good few months. Its just a shame it has happened now, talk about bad timings etc.

I know it's cheesy and you probably don't feel like it at the minute but all that matters are the people you love and who love you back. x

    Aww thats cr@p!

Nowt like a wedding for making people fall out.

Have you paid out for all these outfits too? Thats a lot of money to loose to selfish people like that if you have.

You will prob enjoy ypur day more as there wont be the tension and you wont be on edge.
