41 days

Whoop..... 33 days for us You just know that time is gonna fly by now.

We're down to 27 days and I am not excited just having awful feelings of panic! Surely this can't be right?

Oh my days Hannah... is that all the time we have left?!?! My ticker says 1 month, 1 week and 3 days... not long 'til it's less than a month!!

Since about the 3 months mark I've had everything pretty much organised and the stuff that was left to do was for "nearer the time"... I think it is NOW "nearer the time"... Got to get my Orders of Service printed!

Our gift list opened yesterday and so many people have already been so kind and bought us pretty things... I am desperate to write thank-you cards but MIL2B says we should wait until after the wedding

What have you still got left to do lovely? Not much I bet, you always seem so organised!

So was I. But we haven't technically received them yet, which is the confusing bit! John Lewis 'holds' them for us until after the wedding and then delivers them all together. For example sometimes things that have been "ordered" actually go out of stock and need replacing. So if we wrote a letter thanking someone for the lovely bedspread, then it turns out the bedspread is out of stock and needs to be replaced by a set of pans (or whatever) then the thank-you cards are wrong. So it's more like we know people are GOING to buy us presents, but haven't yet, as it doesn't actually go through until the wedding date.

That is all the time we have left lol. I have everything done. Did the order or service last month, did the seating plan, place cards and favour bags the other day. nothing left to do now but pay the last little bits off. Got to pay the hair £45, beauty treatments £61, hotel £85, Banns Cert £35 and honeymoon £300

Yeah, in my Debrett's Wedding Guide it says you must thank guests as soon as they give you the gift and not wait til after the wedding, hence why we asked Nat at Inspire Me Designs to make us some Thank You cards in advance instead of nearer to the wedding, as we've already received some presents. but these were given to us rather than bought off as list... It was strange sending a Thank You card on a winter themed card and signed with married name LOL!

Our wedding list sends gifts as they are ordered, so last weekend I wrote 11 thank you letters. Another three to do this week.

Also means less of a pressure when you get back from honeymoon and gives mroe time to write a proper personalised thank you, rather than standard issue.
