Please inspire me. (Just out of interest as I need some retail therapy and there are so many lovely things!)

I'm a total gadget geek so I love Lakeland. I'd buy one of those instant hot water kettles but don't know how much they are. I like to see how many different things I can buy for a certain amount of money. I always end up with fried egg moulds, things to make my oven shiny, utensils I never use and lots of cling film and plastic containers!

Oooh and if you like liquorice, their soft stuff is really nice!

I had been thinking about lots of frivilous nice muffin/cup cake cases, cake tin liners etc but I'm more than a wee but tempted by a soda stream. I would love one andhaven't even thought about Lakeland selling them. Hmmm. ?

Aww, poor KtC and your pig chopping board!

Ooh - I've just seen they're opening a new store in Liverpool in October. I can see my credit cards taking a battering that month.

(I'm sooooo sad - once upon a time it would have been shoes and booze - now it's chopping boards!)

I can't get into Lakeland. It just doesn't float my boat.?

I could go mad in a perfume shop though! or leather goods, but Lakeland nope.

I'd bust the budget and buy the jam maker, or a remonska, or a soda stream, an apron... basically lots of lovely kitchen stuff, not a fan of the craft bits.

Sophie couldn't you just fizz plain water and add sugar free cordial?

Keiren, I sell pig shaped chopping boards at my work, £3.50. Want one?

My local Lakeland have reduced their craft section to the bare minimum. Apparently it's a company wide thing, there's no craft catalogue this season ☹️

yup, they're pulling the entire craft range. The last craft catalogue was the last one.

The My Kitchen bakeware is excellent, I dabble with the idea of a Remoska and neeeeeeed the train and car shaped baking tins.

I was allowed to go to Lakeland HQ on holiday. It's fab, they have a man creche and everyfink.

free 'net access, the day's papers, comfy chairs. OK, they don't actually call it a creche, but it's clearly where the husbands are parked. Oh, and a bloomin' good cafe.

Tell Mr C it's your Secret santa late (or early!) As for P&P, stick the equivalent to charity?

Well done on your medal, The first one I got was navy too with a blood blister in the middle, not pretty.

PM your address and I'll get it on thursday when I'm in and post on me lunch.

how do i pm now? it seems to have gone...is it the conversation function?

i don't mind paying the p&p as if i ordered the lakeland one i would easily spend fifty quid, but i'll donate it to charity if you prefer ?

    how do you want paying?

    I'd buy this: https://www.lakeland.co.uk/search/50787

Then I could fill it with bags of tomatoes, heaps of lettuce and lashings of ginger beer, and set off on another adventure with Julian, Dick, Anne and Timmy
