6 Months and Counting!

How exciting!!

These next 6 months will fly by.

Your getting married the day after me! i gave notice in November because we'd booked the venue 16 months in advance ( i got a little over excited at the time!) and booked the registra on the 6th Sept!! i just wanted something offical to do and make it all real.

Hehe! Cola people keep telling me i am too organised and i keep saying you obviously havent seen Hitched!

I know what you mean, i want it all sorted to make it feel real.

So quick question, what will happen today? What will they ask? I dont know what songs i want to have yet, will this be a probelm?

It's almost 6 months since I got engaged and its has flown by so I hope the next 6 months go as quickly.

Venue Booked - which includes all food and drink and ceremony.

Registrar Booked

Photographer booked

My wedding ring bought and recieved.

Dress ordered and paid for - Getting the Maggie Sottereo Brielle made.

Found my Stationary

and now just given notice to get married! Yay.

It's 6 months today for me too! I feel like i'm very behind in planning though!

Dress, veil, tiara, shoes

Bridesmaids dresses & shoes

OH & male wedding party suits

I'm actually pleased I wrote this down cos it looks like I'm a bit more organised than I feel (although I'll admit most of this has only been done in the past 6 weeks). Now its got me thinking whats next on the list!

I'm pleased i have a couple of date twins!

I have done:

Venue including food, drink and ceremony

Dress

Band

Bridesmaid dresses (although not received yet!)

Flowers

Car

Need to sort out a cake now, which is my big worry! Is there anything major i've forgotton? I know i need shoes, veil tiara and OH's suit but he assures me he is going to do that a couple of months before....

Oh and we've done photographer!

I'm having red (crimson-ey) and ivory

My colours are chocolate & cream with a teeny bit of gold. What colour have you gone for?

When are you both sending your invites out? I don't want to leave it too late as its still part of the school holidays so I don't want to take the chance that too many people will have booked to go away. Does May seem ok or am I way too eager?

I think I'll do mine sooner rather than later, i know people getting married late September who have already sent them!

Lovely colours ladies. Mine is Hot Pink/Fushia with bit of white and green foliage with the flowers.... i think!

I am thinking of sending my invitations out around the end of May. I know a lot of people who are sending theres out earlier but i think if its too early some people might forget and book other stuff!! Not sure?....
