just saw my signie. 6 months left D: Balls, there still much to do! Those invites need doing, need to inform the council were not cousins etc etc. Thou we/I have made some progress. Mum finally brought her dress, we saw it on sale and snapped it up! Of course I MADE HER. more or less, i bought it for her since her payday is in week and i could tell she wanted it.

Been seeing my cake maker handy work on FB. Shes pretty good! made a spiffy looking birdcage! Also found out my TOG is pregnant! very happy for her, currently developing a girl crush on that woman!

anyway so I've got venue, cake, tog, dress, hair piece shoes and other tat, band, flowers, leaving on my to do list:

  • stationary
  • giving notice
  • booking hair & makeup (depending on good the trail is)
  • make favors
  • gets the bloody BM dresses sorted
  • pay deposit for suits

have i missed something?

    Cars, rings, insurance if you're using it..gift list. Hotels etc, can't think of anything else x

    Six months! Time seems to be suddenly flying by. As for list only things that haven't already been said that I can think of are gifts for anyone on the day & any other venue decoration if needed?

    I'm just a month behind you & you're waaaaay more organised than me!!!

    Can't think of anything else other posters haven't mentioned!

    I've only got church, reception, tog, car & bm dresses!! Need to pull my finger out....

    Ah, we have the rings and dont need cars. its all in one place and its a city centre with underground parking so no big intro with cars so we wont have them. we got insurance and I've bought a gift for the bridesmaids (necklaces!) but no one else yet. been thinking of making 'survival bags' with mini hairsprays, mints, roll up pumps etc for them.

    Se said the dates worked out fine for my wedding. From what i can guess she'll have a month old baby by then ... still a little anxious on if she'll be too exhaunted, but she said she'd be fine.

    I don't particularly want to worry you but when you say "guess 1 month" but I do think that you need to get exact dates from your photographer as remember the Duchess was late http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2373794/Kate-Middletons-baby-WAS-overdue-sources-reveal-did-effect-Royal-babys-birth.html. Babies have a funny habit of coming out when they want to and not by our dates, You need to ask her who she has inplace to shoot for her as im sure that she had to have someone in place when she was at other stages of pregnancy.
    Maybe some lady photographers on this forum could help you out with explaining how they would go about this situation and what plans they have in place to put your mind at ease.
    On a couple of occasions I have been approached by women photographers who were asking me if I could, not shoot it for them, but because they would be in later stages of pregnancy they felt that they could not cope on their own and needed my help. In each case as soon as they knew they were pregnant I think they may of cancelled weddings each side of the birth date. I don't know how they got sorted in the end as I was unable to help out as I had my own weddings.

    Yeah, i need to approach her about the subject. I know she has a fair few TOG friends that might help out but I'll have to ask. I was 'quietly concerned' about the baby and the stress she'll have but didn't want to seem 'bridezilla'ish asking about it Smiley atonished

    As she has a few photographer friends who can help you should be ok. Not just if she cant do it at all but if she is not feeling 100% ready and will have the help of others. Because you have got advance notice you have time to check out who these friends are who could be shooting your wedding and ask are they the same style as the origional and are they the same quality ect. The baby could even come early and the worry could all be for nothing. But dont worry about being a zilla - you are not at all, you need to get this sorted.
