Well, technically 6 months and 1 day
This is the church that all but 2 of my mums relatives have gotten married in, so this was hugely important to me.
As such, he had final say on the reception - what's that Tidal, you want a lovely Tudor building, fabulous gardens, high ceilings and portraits of previous monarchs decorating the walls - well that's not fun. So our reception, Brooklands Museum, only thing my dad got really excited by. Best thing is, if the weather is good, and the cars are available, we actually get taken round the old race track
So the dress had to be more practical than fun
I am adding the sparkly straps to add a bit of bling to things.
The bridesmaid's dresses
Again with straps and in Cadbury Purple. My brides-man will be in a charcoal suit with a dark purple wasitcoat, which I am still waiting for measurements, as is he with his best man...men.
The flowers, I don't really know apart from pretty and meh, but something like this
Just lots of colour and really bold, which is a contrast to the bridesmaids flowers and buttonhole for my brides-man.
Men's buttonholes: Not sure on the white or purple lily though:
In keeping with the laid back approach we've mainly had, apart from a few wobbles from me the wedding car:
Seeing the cake maker today, but am hoping to have this:
The lego toppers are already bought, and totally non negotiable. Instead of hearts, hoping to have little lego bricks.
Hair inspiration, just a bit low maintenance and flowy.
The table number holders:
Just something that links in the purple with the blue of the room.
Haven't thought about centre pieces etc yet, as that's all getting sorting in January once we go for a menu tasting and can see the room set up (3 times we've been it's been used)
That's it 6 Months really doesn't seem that long, which I am hoping doesn't bring out any stress
