7th September Wedding to do list

Hello fellow brides to be

Im starting to panic that im not going to remember everything to do, what should I have done / not done by now?

Ive been extremely calm throughout, now am having nightmares of things that are gonna go wrong!

Please help!

    Can you just clarify that you mean September 2012?

    Have you got to pay anyone on the day, like the DJ or anyone? You might want to get cheques and things ready for that?

    Ummm well you must have all the major things done.

    Have you got gifts for the bridal party? Hair and make-up sorted? Venue decoration done????

    Hi Leanne,

    I am on the same day, but we are getting married in Malta. Only think left to pay is the meal, cars and photographer on the day. Other that that I am all done. Now it's just the holiday checklist to do. We fly out on the 4th so everything has to bee done by then!

    Hello Date Twin!!

    We sorted our florist yesterday. I got my Engagement ring back from being cleaned too.

    Just need to get the lads fitted for their suits on Saturday and pay that off. That is everything paid then.

    Final fitting on Saturday. Need to get my bridesmaid dresses back next week after being altered.

    Just need to phone the wedding car people to confirm times etc.

    Make sure my make up/hair lady hasnt forgotten about me and decide times for her to come.

    Need to finish table plan and make a CD for the background music for the wedding breakfast.

    Order our currency for honeymoon next week.

    Hmm....Think thats it :-/ hehe

    Ah you have just reminded me to burn my songs onto disc! I have chosen them and got them all in a neat folder ready to go!

    Do you just feel like your missing something?!

    My suits are not in yet, hopefully next week so I can round everyone together.

    Having hair trimmed and dyed by the same lady who is doing my hair this sat,

    Music is all being done by my OH so just need to keep a check he is near finalising

    Menu / table plan is being made this week by my MOH, place cards already done.

    Bridesmaid dresses currently being altered, ties being made, collect on 28th

    Everything is paid bar magician / hog roast man which is on the day

    Need to order currency as undecided on whether to take cash / travellers cheque

    Have started to do an agenda for the day for rough timings etc,

    Gifts sorted for both parties

    Am i missing anything?

    My other half is in charge of music, its his major input for the day.

    On my invitations i had a part where when the guest RSVP they could name a special song. This list has been given to the DJ so he can play them so everyone will have a special moment. Maybe ask the people closest to you to name a song they would like.

    We've gone for something a bit different as we are both into our rock/metal.

    There is a string quartet on youtube called Vitamin, they do a whole range of songs like coldplay, foo fighters etc which are lovley if you want something more to your taste.

    Not sure in what order yet - but these are out choices.

    I still have the Uk reception to plan...it's not until the 6th of October so I've put it to the back of my mind. I have a venue, a bar and a DJ...thats's all I need right ?

    Food? Cake? Hair / make up? Decorations? Photos of the actual wedding / video of the wedding played to everyone

    I do have some decorations, hair and make-up will be my cousin as she is also doing wedding hait and make-up...the food is the main part we havn't sorted. Good idea on wedding photos, maybe we can get a projector..

    Woohooo, hello to another twin.

    We've made a draft table plan so need to do it properly now.

    We have the rest of the balance to pay for the venue and we have to pay the church, then thats it.

    I'm taking my ring to be cleaned this weekend.

    I know, we have friends who get married next Friday and they are SO stressed, and it's because they are not organised.

    People may have laughed at me earlier in the year for being so organised but who's laughing now? OH was saying last night how relaxed and chilled we are and he thinks it's great.

    Were exactly the same, its been so nice to be able to realx and take my time doing things so I have got them the way I want. Tonight will be the last evening when Im making bits with my MOH as done 1/2 the table plan last night so just need to finish it off.

    Im getting married at Crabbs Barn, Mrs P your venue looks lovely Smiley smile

    Has anyone seen what the weather is going to be like on the day? Im praying its not raining, but at the same time its not too hot as i think id melt!

    Any last things you can think of that we may of overlooked??

    Hello date twins!!

    I still have to pay the cars ( but thats on the day), wait for my table plan, tags and oos to arrive, get myself a few little bits like handbag and perfume, some more vases for sweetie table and a board for cheese cake

    Hi and congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. If you are feeling the stress of last minute planning, it is not too late to enlist the services of a professional wedding planner. It sounds as though you have taken care of most things but have nagging doubts that some important aspects may have been over looked. There is an exhaustive checklist, perhaps some less obvious things could be: - flowers for venue/church, table fancies, guest book table, photographer/videographer, venue licensed to marry if (civil ceremony), bouquets, buttonholes, gifts for bridal party and groomsman, toastmaster, insurance, accommodation, honeymoon, flights, speak to all suppliers, confirm guest list.
