8 Days to go and Dad's in hospital

As the title says really, I've only got 8 days till I get married and my Dad was taken in to hospital yesterday with a suspected blood clot on his lung I'm so worried that he wont be able to make it to the wedding. Last year he was diagnosed with cancer so that's why we decided to get married then...

As the title says really, I've only got 8 days till I get married and my Dad was taken in to hospital yesterday with a suspected blood clot on his lung I'm so worried that he wont be able to make it to the wedding. Last year he was diagnosed with cancer so that's why we decided to get married then in November he got phneumonia and had a heart attack and now this. He also lives 2 hours away from where we are getting married so I'm worried about him travelling. Feel really low and don's know what to do....

Just been reading this thread. I've been married before and my dad was attacked by some young lads while he walked the dog and was put in hospital, he had to have a metal plate in his leg. The run up to the wedding he could hardly walk, he said he will go down in a wheel chair if he had too. Luckily he recovered and managed without.

Maybe if he is still a little weak and if he is determined to come you could think of a wheel chair or some support for him. Only a thought, i obviously don't know his condition etc.
