9 months to go !! for any sept ladies :)

Hiya Hel - tis a bit exciting really!

And to think i have been engaged 7 months yesterday and that has FLOWN by - think how much quicker the next 9 will go! ?

In the new year i shall be sorting out BMs dresses as until i get them i don't know the colour we will be using throughout the wedding! Then can get started on invites etc! Sort out flowers, cake, table decs, favours - ?

Lots to do though hey!!!

Yeah I feel that 2009 is going to be a busy yr ! I decided on the colour before i even saw the bmaid dresses as I knew i wanted red all along !! ooops !!

looks like i need to be a busy bee when the festivites are over, i get married the 5th and have booked the venues and bought my favour boxes and ribbon otherwise have done NOTHING!!!!!!!! only decided 3 weeks ago i was getting married in sept so overall not doing too badly (or am i just kidding myself!)

Wedding website was a good idea because we're having our wedding in portugal and there's quite a bit of planning involved!

I am possible being extremely thick but what does STD stand for (in relation to wedding not the other) ?

STD = Save The Date cards!

I've had a pretty weddingy week - I found BM dresses that I fell in love with (which then went out of stock) in Coast at the retail outlet while I was doin my christmas shopping, so I snapped 2 of them up REDUCED in price to £75 each!!

Then I found my dress yesterday, also REDUCED so I snapped that up too! (and tiara) I did turn into my mother a bit and refudse to pay £75 for a veil that I could make myself.

Then today I have been online and ordered swarovski crystal buttons to replace the covered ones on the back of my dress.

The BM dresses and mine all need taking in a bit, so the hunt is on for a seamstress...any recommendations for the Bath/Wiltshire area? ...anyone? The lady recommended by the shop is a bit of a trek away, I could go there but would prefer someone a bit nearer.

So I apologise now for the lack of dress pics - I will get round to setting up an online photo thing someday soon. I did have a look on the interweb for a dress pic, but as it's a sample dress from an old season I can't find any at all. If anyone has better luck than me it's Allie Renee by Mon Cheri number A1614.

Today we are going to the venue as the wedding planner lady has sadly become a victim of the financial situation, and we are meeting up with the person who will be taking over our plans.

Oh, and I bought wedding insurance this week too.

So next is to find the right colour ribbon at a reasonable price for my invites, and start thinking about the wording. I also got all the card/paper/envelopes for my stationery from Ebay, pre cut and scored.

I have been a busy girl this week!
