Haha this is my light hearted moan! I don't expect anyone other than me and my OH to be excited about our wedding. My bridesmaids are ace and my family are really enthusiastic too, supportive and happy and excited. I'm even getting used to people telling me it's ages away (blah blah blah!) but I wish beyond anything OH could be slightly more excited about it. Don't get me wrong, he'll talk about it (mostly from a budgetary point of view haha!) but he says he can't get excited til a few days before hand.

That'd be fine but ... He is mega excited about the honeymoon which is just as far away time wise!

Honestly I'm not really that wound up I just can't say this to him so I'm saying it to you lovely lot!

This is how we both feel, sorry! FAR more excited about the honeymoon than the wedding.

Don't expect others to get excited until right near the day. It's only now that my family have started to show any inkling of interest / excitement, and it's next weekend! In fact, I got this fairly sweet email from my little bruv this morning:

"IM SO EXCITED

FAMILY WEDDING. WE'VE NEVER HAD A FAMILY WEDDING BEFORE. YOURS IS THE FIRST. I CAN'T WAIT. IT FEELS LIKE AGES AWAY BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT FEELS REALLY CLOSE. I JUST WANNA SLEEP THE WHOLE NEXT WEEK SO WHEN I WAKE UP ITS THE WEDDING AND I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT ANY MORE.

Yo, Sup? "

Haha thanks! I'm super excited about our honeymoon too. I'm not really annoyed at him and tbh I am having real periods of excitement and then just not thinking about it so I do get it I'm just having a moan :-)

Haha, this is exactly what my H2B is like as well, he is looking forward to getting married but cannot understand why I am so excited as we have loads of ace things to do in the next three months before we get married. Having said this, I am probably even more excited about the honeymoon, especially as we both have pretty much the whole of December off work!

Ha ha this is exactly what my htb has been like!! Now we're 6 weeks away he's started to get excited and involved with things! I've always been the sort who's constantly excited in the build up - it's the same with holidays! He's the one who only gets excited when it gets closer!

My OH is the same. He only gets excited a few days before an event such as holidays, Christmas, parties where as i will be planning and getting excited for months.

When he picked out his suit and he tried it on he did actually get excited, i was so happy ... i prayed it would last but it was gone by the time we got home.

He is more excited about the honeymoon and his new car once the wedding saving has finished.

Haha looks like I'm not alone :-)

And speaking of a new car ... OH got very excited because he decided he wanted a new car after the wedding too, like I got excited about the thought of going shopping or having disposable income again!!
