A bit OT but app at phone not working!

Sorry for it being a bit OT but my hitched app and safari on my iPhone won't let me on here!! I'm climbing the walls!! Can get on in my iPad but not my phone or even through safari on my phone. Anyone else?

    Hi Mrs Gibson 2 be,

    Sorry to hear you are having problems accessing the forums via the app. I have just tested this and it seems to be working ok. Are you still having problems?

    I have a couple of suggestions/questions which may help resolve the issue for you:

    - Can you check that you are running the latest version of the app - check if there are any updates available in the App Store.

    - What iPhone version and IOS are you running? It would be useful for us to know if there is a problem with a particular version.

    - Can you try signing out, closing the app and restarting/resigning in.

    Safari

    - Can you try signing out of hitched, quitting Safari, emptying your cache and cookies ( go to Settings - Safari - Clear Cookies and Data) and then re-open Safari and re-sign in.

    Hope that you are able to continue to use the forums after this. Any further problems please let me know.

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply, I have tried all of the above, still nothing. I can log into the app on my iPhone 5s running the latest software, the app was only downloaded a couple of days ago and is up to date. I can't access the forums, budget planner etc, only my scrap book.

    If I attempt to click a link from an email and open in safari, it says "Access denied for ..........@*****.*** (email add removed) the account you are attempting to login with could not be completely activated.

    Please contact your site administrator to activate the account or enable automatic account activation.

    If I attempt to just log in separately in safari on my phone from the home page, it just won't load. Everything else works fine on other sites/pages.

    Thank you for the details you have provided, this is great for helping us try and identify the problem. It sounds like there may have been a issue with your registration so our technical team are investigating this now for you.

    Hi,

    We have tested your account and can't recreate the problem. Would you be able to email me at aimee@hitched.co.uk with a screen grab of the app, and any messages on safari that you are shown, along with what link it is that you are clicking on from an email?

    Are you posting using the full site on a computer without any problems?

    While we're fixing problem, my app on my ipad doesn't seem to want me to access anything other than the budget manager... I will try the log out and in again when I get home!

    Hi Soraneko,

    Can you try visiting this link: https://www.hitched.co.uk/autologout.aspx via Safari

    Then clear your cookies and data from your iPad Safari settings before trying to load it again.

    Can you also log out and close the app before restarting.

    Please let me know if you're still having problems - it is useful if you're able to email me screen grabs of what you see to aimee@hitched.co.uk
