Having had many a free sample from there, I haven't found a No.7 mascara that I don't like yet.

I used to get annoyed with a lot of mascaras smudging, but I find the No.7 ones have pretty good staying power.

Any of the Max Factor range - I particularly like the 2000 range

Chanel and Lancome have both been recommended to me. I had a Benefit make over and hated their mascara for the reasons you have found out. I looked like a panda (only not as cute, ?).

I've never had a problem with collection 2000's waterproof Black/brown mascara, it always makes my lashes look good and doesn't rub off.

TBH I can't remember the last time I didn't buy waterproof it always lasts so much better.

I've yet to find the perfect mascara (not sure what that is!) but always seem to return to Boots No7 as they are reasonaby priced and seem to the job and haven't had any smudging.

Another No.7 fan. Never had a problem with any of them, I have bought expensive ones & still gone back to No.7

I am a bit of a mascara junkie, forever trying to find the best one, so for the moment you have to try Diorshow Iconic, it's fab. It's one of those rubber brush ones which really get to the root of the lash... do a couple of coats on each eye and it really lifts and opens without any need for curlers etc.....If anything this mascara (if you apply several coats) takes a wee bit more effort to remove so therefore no panda eyes whatsoever!

Close runner up is the Max Factor masterpiece (rubber brush again)... although I did go into Boots yesterday and they have a new false eyelash effect edition which I'm sure will miraculously end up in my basket later!

I can recommend Virgin Vie's Dream Lashes (new formula one). It's fantastic for giving really dramatic lases even with just one coat.

If you want a waterproof one then use the conditioner from the Dream Lashes and then use their Xtreme Sports Lash mascara. I use this on all my brides and it's never run or smudged.

Max Factor Masterpiece mascaras are brilliant. Don't smudge or clump but give nice long thicks lashes.

Personally I really like the Estee Lauder ones - have used both the projectionist and illusionist ones. Nice thick long lashes and pretty good staying power, even the non-waterproof ones which I tend to use.

I currently use MAC X mascara and find it brilliant. It's not waterproof, but it doesn't smudge. Also love Diorshow and Lancome mascaras. Never had a problem with them.

I can't believe that you find the benefit one smudges!

I use their badgal blue mascara and it's wonderful on me!

Mind you - I do wear specs, so don't rub my eyes - so maybe that's why it doesn't smudge on me!

Maybelline Great Lash for me! Used it for donkey's years - doesn't smudge, comes off easy and lovely long lashes.

Another recommendation for Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara. If you want really long thick lashes then try the Masterpiece Max (in the black tube).

I have the Masterpiece waterproof in my kit and ise it on everyone that i work on. I used to have Diorshow mascara but find the max factor is much better and half the price!

    Hello,

i suggest to use careprost for your eyelashes. that is such a good product for your eyelashes. Careprost differently affects the development, the thickness of your eyelashes and eyebrows, because of its utilization (eyelashes) become longer, thicker and darker.

According to my wife who has been a wedding make-up artist for 10 years, Mac In Extreme3D Black Lash Mascara.

She has tried them all and she says that this wins hands down.
