Hi everyone,
I thought I'd write a post in here as I'm in a good mood today.
Feel like quite a few things are comming together with the wedding (which is next September): got venue sorted, booked registrar, booked photographer (and had engagement shoot which was fab). I've just booked the DJ - I just need to pay the desposit finally confirm. I'm planning to make my own stationary so I bough some different sheets coloured / textured card and ribbons etc at the weekend to get some inspiration of what they colours will look like together (I'm thinking of ivory, blue, navy and gold). I am also totally adicted to Pinterest now - adding photos of things I like / want to include in my wedding.
Next on my list of things to do:
- String quartet / trio - can't decide whether to have them for just the ceremony or for drinks reception after. I think it would be nice to have them while people are having drinks / photos but it is obviously quite expensive and I worry that people will drift off as there are a few sitting areas outside venue / rooms in venue.
- Dress shopping - very excited for this but I am waiting for my mum to be able to come down in July so she can come with me too.
Going to visit the Lakes in Oct hopefully to visit a few florists (I want to talk to them rather than just looking online) and try the food out at the hotel.
Also - one of the main reasons I am happy is that me and OH are going on holiday for a week on Saturday! Just on countdown now - hope this week at work goes quickly!!
