A plea - please put useful info on the subject line!

Snow Patroller, 9 September, 2010 at 12:31 Posted on Planning 0 4

A plea to all Hitchers...

I see so many posts that just say 'help please' or 'need .....' or 'can you help with .....' and you have to go into the post to see what the ..... is! Its like its a secret!

I'm sure some posts would get much better responses if they put 'need help with a bouquet' or 'can you help with jewellery' ...

Sometimes it fun to do it that way - say ...."Guess, what, I'm ....." cos thats personal (and would likely say pregnant, or engaged or ... drunk!)

But if you're needing advice or help on something, say what it is!

Maybe its just me finding this frustrating!

Hear hear! You're not the only onr MrsSP, I find a little odd that people don't put an interesting subject headings in.

Unless you're like me, and forget to put a heading in, then wonder why it won't post...?

I agree! I try to put informative subject lines as I think it is helpful for everyone - definitely helps me when I am skimming through the forum for thoughts on a particular area Smiley smile

I agree! Thanks for raising this. I quite often "hitch" at lunch time so I am short on time, and the network is always slow, so it is frustrating to have to click in and out of threads to see what they're about, only to see they're not relevant/interesting to me.

    Clear/descriptive subjects would be brilliant!

    Totally..

I've got an RSS feed setup to my email - I tend not to look at the ones that aren't specific.
