A round top table!

natnats, 29 August, 2008 at 10:36 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi there,

Due to limitations at our venue, we are having a round top table in the centre of the room.

I'm after some ideas on how to differentiate it from the other tables, so it doesn't get lost in the middle? Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Nats

I went to a wedding recently that had that. The top table was the only one with chair covers so that differentiated it.

Thanks! We've already ordered and paid for chair covers for all, as the wedding is two weeks tomorrow!

I'm thinking of maybe adding some balloons at a high level but don't want it to look tacky!

That would be a good way to do it, I have seen some nice balloon displays for weddings, or you could have a flower arrangement in a tall vase. Even a nice card on the table saying 'Bride and Groom's Table' or something.

    Hi,

We are also having a round top table. I think we are going to differentiate it by having a really tall vase of striking flowers and balloons. Our wedding is in December next year so we are also going all out with candles. Hope that helps.

We're having a round 'top table' for our wedding in 3 months, although due to divorced and deceased parents we're having closest friends sat with us instead of family. I like the idea of having a taller flower arrangement than the other tables, or maybe different flowers or different colour of flowers. Personally I would go for something subtle as you really won't need to make it obvious - you'll be sat there after all!!

Different colour sashes we do this quite a lot & add flowers with bows tot he back of the chairs.Usually we do the top table or Bride & Grooms table with Ivory or white sashes. This is an example the top Table had these on the chair backs:

I was going to suggest the exact same thing, maybe even different colour chair covers ?
