When we set the date in February we never thought he wouldn't be with us a few months later, so it is a shock. He was only ill for a few weeks. The next few days are going to be hard...

Im really sorry to hear that, I hope you and your OH and family are all ok. My stepgran passed away really suddenly 2 months before our wedding so I know how you must all be feeling. Take care x

It's been a weird weekend, trying to carry on as normal but it was difficult. H2B says he feels "relieved" as the last week or so every time the phone rang we both got really stressed. He's very sad as he was very close to his Grandpa, and I guess we won't notice his absence straight away.
